"The condo was very spacious, plenty of room for our party of 5. Very close to the beach which was great. There is a restaurant at the hotel and the food was very good. However, any other restaurants were about a 20 minute walk. We ate at some places at Atlantis which were great but very expensive! Our condo was in much need of updating/renovating/repairs. It was pretty dated and there were things that needed fixed. Also, when I booked the room, I paid extra for the "ocean view." I was...

"Mike and Karra were very friendly and accommodating. They made the check in process very simple to understand and we had no issues. They even offered to drive us back to the airport the morning we left and to get groceries, since we didn't rent a vehicle. The property was updated and clean, and comfortable (TV had a Firestick for google assist, Netflix and even a PS3 stocked with games!!!). "The rooms and the property are very clean. I did a late check-in and had trouble getting in my room-even with after hr number-it was difficult to reach anyone. There is heavy construction going on next door so rooms #14 and #15 will be disturbed during the day with drilling and other noise. Best part is it is located right across from the beach, and Nesbitts and another cute spot are all within walking distance. I would stay there again, but they need to work on communication. "

"The hotel and surrounding area of the resort is very beautiful with friendly faces always greeting us wherever we go. The resort gets A . Our room gets a 5/5 points because it was very well kept and clean. The 3rd floor hallways could use a little upgrade because there was a smell of mold lingering when we stepped out of the elevator. The pools, water activities, and aquariums kept the 5 kids in our party very busy throughout our stay. Would definitely stay here again! "

The People Make the Difference!

"We stayed at (2) resort locations on Nassau: Harborside Atlantis (Paradise Island) and Sandyport Beach Resort. If we were visiting again, we would select Sandyport over Atlantis because of the people who worked at the resort. Our room was large, clean, and AC worked well. The room, and parts of the resort, are for sure slightly outdated, but that did not take away from the experience for us. We spent time at the pool/beach bar, which is very simple. But Bass, Kyle and Mrs. N made the experience personal and enjoyable. They seemed to genuinely appreciate that we were there. The front desk staff were welcoming and addressed any questions/concerns we had at any time. The surrounding area had some good food restaurants and a solid craft cocktail bar. "

"Give a shout out for everyone to the reception Marvin concierge, Bellman Von, the snack bar, Miss Barbara, the buffet the DJ the bartenders the waiters and waitresses the pool attendance. Everybody is lovely."

"Beautiful facility! Staff was super friendly and accomodating! Convenient location - close to all that downtown Nassau has to offer. Truly a 5 star facility! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Due to the nature of my visit I had to stay several days at another hotel - once I got to British Colonial, I truly felt like I was on vacation! "
