Precious 3-bedroom, 2 full bath home with everything to make you feel right at home while knowing you are at the beach. Just a couple of blocks walk (or rent a golf cart for the true vacation experience!) to the beach so you're close enough to be there in minutes, and just far away enough to be away from the noise.
You'll step inside to inviting colors of coral and teal furnishings and decor in the living room outfitted for everyone to have their own seat whether you're watching a movie, discussing the day's adventures, or having family game night. Just beyond the living room you'll find the dining area with hand carved chairs and a table large enough for everyone to sit and enjoy culinary delights of your group's chef - or the delicacies of any of the hundreds of restaurants on the island. Everything you could possibly need is in the spacious kitchen from stainless appliances, cookware, dinnerware, glassware - if you use it at home there's a good chance there's one here, too. The owner has tried to think of anything and everything you could need while here. Just beyond that kitchen you'll find the laundry nook with full-sized washer & dryer; so you are able to pack light, or if you decide to extend your stay (and if this precious home is still available) no need to go buy new stuff. To the right you will find three bedrooms, each large in size! The primary is at the rear of the house, has an inviting king sized bed, reading lamps so each can have their own lighting for late night reading; and an en suite bath with a gorgeous stand up shower. The middle bedroom has a queen sized bed and each night stand has out lets for your devices, both USB and standard plugs. The front bedroom has two twin beds and room to store each of these two's belongings.
There is a smart TV in the living room and it's the only TV in the home - though there is WiFi throughout so each person can watch what they want on your own devices. Between the twin and queen bedrooms is another full bath, 4 piece - tub/shower combo in this one.
My Galveston Getaway rents to responsible adults 25 years of age or older. Upon booking you will receive a digital renters agreement that we will need to get back from you (digitally, of course) listing each person and the age of each person who will be joining you on the trip and agreeing to our rules. It's pretty straightforward, just dotting the i's and crossing all the t's and letting you know what comes next.
We will send by personal email from us to you the check in information about 72 hours prior to your arrival and about 24 hours later we will call to be sure you received it, verify the code we've provided for access to the property, and answer any last-minute questions you may have. Our check in time is 4:00 p.m. and our check out time is 11:00 a.m. Many times due to the popularity of the island and this property, we will not be able to offer early check in or late check out as we need sufficient time between guests for our housekeeping contractor to ensure everything is ready for each of our guests.
Some of the properties we manage, this one included, are dog friendly (but dogs only!) We have a 2-dog maximum, combined maximum weight of 100 pounds and we will ask you to send us a picture of the dog. Once dogs are approved there is a $75.00 per dog fee which is per stay, not per day. We do ask that no animals be permitted on the furniture and be kenneled when their humans are not at home with them. We also recommend traveling with your four legged family members, have their vaccine records with you just in case emergency services are needed while you are here. We also suggest checking with the City of Galveston to ensure you are following leash laws, animal accessible beaches, etc. There are several restaurants that have outdoor seating that welcome your dog(s) to join you as well.
This home has a 2 car garage accessed through the alley. Each of the 2 individual stalls will accommodate a small car - but not a truck or a larger SUV. There is also on-street parking and a permit is required. There are 2 permits in the home. The City charges us $500 to replace these so please be sure that you have left these behind for us to offer to future guests. If they are not in the home when you depart we will contact you as soon as we are aware and we need them returned immediately to our office so we can provide them for future guests. We really don't want to have to charge a guest for the replacements, but every guest needs to have access to the parking permits and the City will only issue 2 per property.

After making your reservation you will receive a link to complete our renters agreement. The only information we request differently than the booking platforms (VRBO/AirBnB) is your personal email address, the names and ages of each person who will be in the property during your stay, and your driver’s license information as well as an emergency contact should we need to reach someone on your behalf. Thank you for completing this in a timely manner so that we may send you the check-in instructions for the property you have reserved.
