Perfect for families
We loved the split level! Plenty of space & very comfortable. Our favorite was the primary room with its own balcony, so peaceful. The kitchen is well stocked. 10/10 would stay again!!

Great location
We enjoyed our stay in this well stocked split level home. The private master balcony and the enclosed first floor balcony were especially nice for privacy to enjoy partial views of the beach. Would recommend.

Love love love this property! Perfect for our family/friends beach getaway! Just a few minutes from town if you want to go into Galveston and enjoy the attractions. But far enough from town to enjoy uncrowded private beach area!

Best Beach House Ever!!
We loved this location! The home had everything we needed for a great time at the beach. Owner was a great communicator. She was always quick to respond to our questions, provided restaurant recommendations and made some great suggestions on inside activities which we really appreciated and enjoyed since we had a few rainy days during our stay. We would stay again.

Great ocean view!
Great location! Everything was stocked and just needed to bring our food in. Walking distance to the beach and a beautiful view of the ocean. We had 2 families, and it was plenty of room.

Great Vacation
This property has an amazing view of the Gulf and the bay despite being in the second row of homes. Everything was clean and easy to use . It was quiet and cozy and easily accommodated our family of 5. We would love to come back again next year.

Best get away beach house
WOW! The location of this home was amazing. Not only was it affordable but we were thrilled when we checked-in and realized it was a 30 second walk to the beach. The home is beautiful, very well-maintained and pet-friendly. The home’s layout was great, the beds were cozy, the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and all of the balconies and screen-in porch had ocean views. In addition, we really appreciated all of the downstairs amenities. It was convenient to grill then eat at the picnic table and the downstairs shower had hot & cold water which felt amazing after enjoying the sun, sand ocean’s surf. Plus, the beach is private so it was less crowded than the other surrounding beaches. We will definitely be coming back.

Wonderful
The home is beautiful. Owner was wonderful to work with. There were so many things in the hpuse that we thought we would have to bring but were already there (spices, trash bags, detergents ECT) there is plenty of room and a great space downstairs to hang out if you want to be outside. This was my first time ever renting a beach house and the owner made the experience a wonderful one. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

Great beach house rental with all the comforts of home and a beautiful ocean view. The proximity to the beach was amazing, little or no crowd because it is a private beach. There’s a walkway just beside the house, which takes you to the beach within 1/2 a minute. The kitchen is fully stocked so we had everything we needed to cook. The property had awesome balconies and a screened-in porch which my family spent a lot of time enjoying in the evenings. The home was extremely clean and in great working condition. To our surprise, there were improvements and upgrades to the home that had completed since we saw the pictures online when we booked. Host was very responsive and super friendly. We'll be back for my birthday!

Galveston Getaway Fun
We loved our stay at Coco Villa and enjoyed everything about this beach house. We will be booking this property again AND again, in the future. The host was VERY responsive and happy to make fun recommendations to restaurants and things to do in Galveston. We still can’t believe the value of this home for being so close to the beach. The home was very clean and in great condition. We appreciated that the home had plenty of rooms and beds to sleep our large group comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked. All of the smart tvs were large. I loved the ocean views from the 2 balconies and the screened-in porch. In my opinion, the property was everything and more than advertised online and shown in the pictures. I can’t wait to go back and take more friends!

Perfect spot to feel at home
We had a wonderful time. This place has it all. The bedrooms were clean and comfy.the air quality inside was crisp and pleasant. Omg the high ceiling in the living room was nice to kick back on the couch and feel the open space. The kitchen was full and had everything you need for cooking and grilling..oh by the way the gas grill was a plus (new). Beach is right there . Plenty of open space for family fun. We enjoyed the enclosed patio area and so will you. Full amenities from kitchen to bathrooms. Top floor deck/patio was amazing view. We wanted to stay another day. To conclude; we Couldn’t ask for a better host. Friendly, communicative, and made sure we enjoyed our time. 10 out of 10

Peaceful stay
Owner was very responsive when reaching out to her, even talked on phone a few times. House was nice and had lots of upgrades, screened in porch was peaceful, and neighborhood/beach was very quiet and nice. Owner reached out due to being told by previous renter washer was not working and when I replied and we talked realized washer only worked on hot water setting. Owner had repair man out very next day and communicated what all was going on. She didnt want to interfer with our vacation with plumber/repair man. Great owner to work with and we will definetley return!

Hell hole by the sea
The owner was belligerent and combative. My son got some sort of allergic reaction or bed bugs or something from the dirt in that house. We ended up leaving early. What a nightmare. The location is great. There is an adorable restaurant by the west side marina less than a mile away, but choose a different house in this neighborhood. She also took 5 hours to respond to my initial text to get into the house. All in all, I wish I hadn’t gone. I would die before setting foot in that house again.

Love this place! So pretty and close to beach.
Fabulous quiet location, a minute or less walk to the beach. One of our favorite features of the house was the top deck balcony. It was wonderful, waking up, drinking coffee and being able to utilize it to experience the gorgeous sunrises and ocean view! The large main deck balcony is screened in and safe for little ones and small dogs to enjoy the ocean breeze with you. I also like the outdoor shower. It is obvious that the owner cares about the property and her Guests because every time, I stay here there have been improvements and upgrades to the property. I remember on one visit that the built in microwave was not working. Same day a counter top microwave was provided for my convenience. It’s always been the perfect beach getaway whether I am booking for a family trip or a girl’s weekend. My guests love it! The property is always extremely clean, there are plenty of towels, the kitchen has everything you need to cook and, toiletries/blow dryers are provided so less packing for me. Host is always accommodating. We will be back again and again!

Very disappointed
I didn’t expect the house to be new but I did expect it to be clean, at least. Kitchen cabinets and floor needed to be wiped down... food on the doors of the cabinets. First floor bathroom sink was dirty, as was floor. All the windows in the house were dirty. I cleaned one of them to see if it was dirt or age... it was dirt. Some of the furniture on the porch was broken and one of the screens on the window was completely torn off. I will not rent this property again.

Overall, the property was a value, but it did have a couple of issues. It had a window out that was covered with a piece of plywood, the interior stairs were chipped up, the lighting under the house was out on half of the house. The furniture in the livingroom was really uncomfortable with 2 chairs that had sprung springs poking us, and the fireplace wasn't usable. The dryer wasn't working either. Although it had these issues, it was still a nice place to stay. I know renters can be hard on rental properties, so I understand some of the condition. The kitchen was fully equipped and for a beach rental in this condition - it was priced reasonably. I would rent it again and would recommend it to others. None of these were worth complaining about, but hopefully the feedback will help the owner to make improvements. We enjoyed our stay and it was very comfortable & clean and accommodated our family nicely. Thank you for renting to us.

Wasn’t super clean and ceiling caved in
When we first walked into the house it had a sour smell. Probably from the ceiling in the living room because after 3 days it caved in leaving sheetrock, mold & debris everywhere. The owner didn’t send anyone to clean it up so we had to clean it ourselves. Per our conversations with the owner we thought she was going to fix it so we agreed to stay but that didn’t happen. The house smelled horrible and the front room was completely unusable. We requested a partial refund for the affected days but are still waiting to hear back on that. We would have left but she said she was going to bring in fans and ect to clean it up so we could stay but never did that. Cons: Bunk bed room remote didn’t work Living room tv didn’t work well The house wasn’t super clean. The covered patio had clumps of hair all over from previous tenants, we found dog bones in the living room and the layers of dust in drawers esp in the bathrooms were so gross. The bathroom not pictured is tiny (I figured that since it wasn’t pictured) The main bathtub had a hard time draining. The washer only worked on warm or hot. The stairs were steep inside the house esp for small kids or elderly people. The upstairs bed made a loud noise everytime you sit or turn in it. The ceiling fan also makes an annoying noise in that room if it’s on medium or high speed. Pros: close to the beach and the upper deck was nice
