Beachside Retreat is a fabulous 2-bedroom 2-bathroom located at the Seascape in Galveston. You can walk right outside to either the pool or the ocean. 

Beachside Retreat is a fabulous 2-bedroom 2-bathroom located at Seascape Resort in Galveston. Our condo will comfortably sleep 8 guests


You can walk right outside to either the pool or the beach. The inside is light and bright with open concept living and dining areas.  The kitchen is fully equipped and also has a regular coffee maker.


The master bedroom has a king bed and the second room has a queen. There are also galley bunk beds and a sleeper sofa. Each room has its own flat-screen television. For guests' convenience, a washing machine and dryer are located in the unit.


Seascape is one of a handful of complexes located beachside in Galveston. You will not have to cross a busy street to get to the beach. Guests at Beachside Retreat also enjoy all the amenities offered by Seascape Resort including a beautifully landscaped courtyard/pool area, seasonally heated pool, 2 hot tubs (one for adults only), gazebo, beach observation deck, beach side BBQ and picnic area, and private parking.

We had the best time in Galveston and the stay at Seascape was awesome. Chose this place(castle as my granddaughter would call it) because it was on the beach. Didn’t have to worry about crossing the busy street to the beach. I would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning for our beach getaway

As advertised! Very nice property.
The condo was actually more well appointed than most of the beach houses I have ever rented. Great location! Out of the seawall hubbub, but close enough to where we Uber everywhere easily and inexpensively. Highly recommend!

We loved the Seascape community. I wish there was an adults only pool, and it stayed open past 11pm. Overall a quiet community and the elevator is a nice touch. The trip to the beach is so nice! Booking was easy and we received early checkin which was great for us since our flights arrived early. Walked into the property and the place is so cute and beachy. Clean and stocked with what we needed. Loved the patio for morning coffee. Easy access to the beach and also enjoyed the pool. Everything was perfect for us.

Place was clean, comfortable... Ok, the couch sux, but aside from that, suite was great. Kitchen a bit lightly stocked... no pot holders, no decent skillet, etc. Hard to cook a real meal. Beach access excellent. Condo facilities were great, nice pool and hot tub, very comfortable. Everything easy to access. Security folks were pleasant. Access was fine, parking is good. Lots of local attractions nearby. Galveston beaches are not what those used to Florida are expecting. Silt and grit. That's not this place's fault, of course, but if you're expecting Sarasota, this ain't it. Of course, there weren't any hurricanes blowing through, either :D

Great location. Nice pool and hot tub. Beach at complex was being improved so could not really be accessed easily which was a problem for us but will not be in the future. Quiet but not far from the action. Not well stocked if you plan on eating in all the time but was perfectly adequate for us. Would go back

If you intend on sleeping 8 people, you will definitely need to bring a foam mattress topper for the sofa bed. It was very uncomfortable. The other beds were great. Nice area. Very friendly staff. We will be back.

Cute condo in the perfect location
The condo was in a great location, plenty of other beaches and restaurants nearby. Kitchen is fully stocked and plenty of bath towels. You may want to plan ahead when it comes to Shampoo and conditioner. Bottles are tiny sample sizes. This condo comfortably sleeps 6 adults and 2 kids. The pull out sofa in the living room was super comfy! Overall it was very homey and nicely decorated. The pool and hot tubs are clean and we had a great time!

Great location and property, condo needs some love
The location and property were fabulous. The condo had a few issues: exhaust fan in main bathroom did not work, GFCI outlet in bathroom off bedroom did not work, refrigerator takes 24 hours to comfortable cool food and drinks, 2 stove burns couldn’t not be used due to fire hazard, and there was a thick layer of dust of top of refrigerator, around chrome molding, and kitchen decorations.
