My Happy Place. Located in Long Bay Point Condos. This 2 story end unit with a view of Lake Galena, has 3 bedrooms (1 king bd and 2 queen beds) and a pull out couch in the loft and 3 bathrooms. Book this condo for your family get away or a great rental for a friends’ weekend away. It is conveniently in Galena Territory. Long Bay Point has its own outdoor pool and has beautiful walking paths. Access to Owners Club where you can enjoy indoor, outdoor and kiddie pools; state of the art fitness center; indoor/outdoor basketball courts, tennis courts, game room. The Galena Territories offer many activities to choose from including horseback riding, zip lining, hiking, wine tours, whisky tasting, fishing, shopping, skiing, boat rentals, and more. Fireplace (firewood provided), TV in each bedroom; main living area and loft area. There is a screened in porch and a balcony with a view of Lake Galena. All dishware, silverware, cookware, linens, provided in kitchen. Linens also provided in all bathrooms. Fullsize washer and dryer provided with detergents. 7 miles to beautiful, downtown Galena for shopping, trolley tours, and walk the steps that Ulsses S. Grant walked when he lived here. Just a short distance to Chestnut Mountain.
The Galena Territory is a Certified Dark Sky Community. So bring your telescope or your favorite stargazer app to explore the night sky.
• Access cards are provided for use at the Owners Club. Additional guest passes may be Purchased at the Owners Club ($5 per day for anyone over 5 years of age)
**All COVID-19 RELATED RESTRICTIONS HAVE BEEN LIFTED FOR THE OWNERS CLUB INCLUDING CAPACAITY LIMITS AND RESERVATIONS FOR MOST AMENITIES. There are a few that still do require reservations – indoor pool/lam swimming, tennis courts, pickleall courts and basketball courts. This is subject to change if the State of Illinois re-institutes restrictions related to the pandemic. Annual July 4th Trip
Our family has been meeting in Galena for the 4th of July for 7 years. This was our second stay here and it definitely will not be our last. Very clean and lots of space for our family to play board games and hang out together.

This is a beautiful property complete with a screened in porch nestled into the woods. There is a pool for use just a short walk away. If you're a golfer, you have a beautiful course to enjoy. Close to Galena with so much history and nature to explore. Loved our stay!

Awesome winter getaway close to skiing and activities. Fun to have drinks around the wood burning fireplace in the evenings. The kids also loved basketball and swimming at the owners club.

Girls get-a-way
Beautiful and comfy home for a family vacation, romantic retreat or a friend get-a-way weekend. Wood burning fireplace, comfortable seating and tasteful decor. We had the best time shopping in Galena only to retreat back to our home to watch movies and relax by the fireplace. It was perfect for our group!

Wonderful stay with family
We've been meeting family in Galena for the July 4th holiday for 7 years. This was our first stay in this unit and it quickly became a family favorite. The unit was clean and Annette was quick to respond when we needed assistance with accessing the pool. We loved the screened-in porch. We'll definitely stay here again.

A lovely place to stay
We had the very best time here. We were only able to stay one night but it was delightful. The condo is lovely, well appointed, and comfortable. Annette was so wonderful and accommodating. We would definitely recommend this condo and would stay there again.

Quiet get-away
If you like a place to unwind and relax with swimming, golf, walking trails and nature (bird watching), this is the place! Celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary in this well appointed condo. Had all the comforts of home. A short ride to get to Galena, IL a quaint town with lots of history, shops & restaurants.

Great Girls Weekend
This home is exactly like the photos. Nice accommodations for 4 guests. Liked the walking trails. Spa was very close by. Downtown Galena quit convenient to the unit. I am sure this would be even more wonderful in the summer. Highly recommend this unit.

There was a slight miscommunication about check-in and we ended up arriving before the unit was done being cleaned. Other than that initial incident the stay was great. It’s beautiful and well furnished. We loved spending the evenings in the screened in porch and took advantage of the nearby pool as well. Overall a great stay!

Perfect weekend getaway with friends
This was such a comfortable place to stay in a perfect location. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The pool was walking distance, and there were also many paths for walking. And the screened in porch was lovely, we wanted to spend all our time out there! With so many things to do in the Galena area, we are already talking about another trip. It was a great weekend with girlfriends!
