Just Okay
This property was clean and all systems worked except the gas fireplace. The place is exactly as pictured. Everything and I mean everything in this rental is dated to the 80’s and so very tired. The log home is of good quality with a nice layout but everything is old and low quality…not up to current standards.
The grill and hot tub worked well.
The beds are awful and have foam toppers that make the beds hot and uncomfortable. Two have footboards(inconvenient for us tall people) and all are queens with poor quality sheets and bedding.
The gas fireplace log set is very old. The pilot light blew out as soon as we opened the glass doors. We know how to operate gas and electric fireplaces as we have 3 in our own home. We did not attempt to use it. Looked too risky.
The fire pit was uncovered and filled with old wet ashes. The log pile was not covered so there was no dry firewood. We could not start a fire.
The pool table is very old and in poor condition. We still had fun but it was an interesting game of nine ball.
Would not return…this is my honest opinion and meant to help others. We spent over $1,000 for 2 nights in November for two people. Had to buy damage insurance for a house full of old items.
