Our bright, peaceful and private Galena retreat is the perfect choice for your getaway. The home features three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and an open concept main floor with updated kitchen with granite countertops, dining area and living room. The four seasons room is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the views. There's a spacious back deck for cookouts and entertaining. The two main bedrooms each have a king bed, and the third bedroom features a queen and a double bed. Guests always mention how great it is for each bedroom to have its own private bathroom. Whether you're traveling with family or with friends, you will find the home is well suited for switching between socializing and getting away from the crowd. The backyard looks out to a densely wooded landscape which offers privacy and serenity.

This quiet location is a 3 minute drive from the Owners Club. It is 5 minutes away from golf courses, Shenandoah Riding Center and the Marina. Chestnut Mountain is 15 min away.

So perfect!
We stayed for a long family weekend. The home was beautiful. Loved taking advantage of the peaceful back deck to enjoy morning coffee and evening wine. The 3season room was my favorite space overall. The home had everything we needed. Super easy in and out of the Galena area. Communicating with the host was easy and fast. Can't wait to come back!

We had a great stay in this property. Three couples stayed and we each had our own bathroom, which was great. We enjoyed the 4 season room and spent some time on the deck. We also used the grill to cook a meal. We enjoyed our stay.

Great spot in Galena
We truly enjoyed our stay. The property was super clean, the bedding smelled so fresh, and the house was immaculate. The house was perfectly equipped with all of the necessities. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone going to Galena or nearby.

Fantastic reprieve from the business of life
If you are looking for a place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is it. The location is close to downtown Galena - just 15 minute to Main Street. Hike, pontoon, eat great food, ride a horse, shop and savor your days.

We enjoyed our stay for a quick spring break getaway. We took advantage of trails, swimming and the proximity to Galena. The house was cozy and comfortable and fit our group of 8 perfectly. The sunroom was inviting and we had space for gathering as well as for resting.

This property is exactly how the pictures look! Very clean and was comfortable for our family of 5. The sun room was great along with the fireplace in the living room! The kitchen was supplied with everything you could want!! Very convenient to get to the general store and the entrance to Eagle Ridge! Communication with property manager was always answered quickly. First off, the home was exactly as described. Great location close enough to town and also to all Galena Territory amenities including the General Store etc. The home was clean and bright with nice linens and towels. The kitchen had everything one might need. The porch and decks had great views. I would definitely come back!

We celebrated my 82 while in Galena. We loved the four season's room. The bed were very comfortable and we wanted to take them home with us. All in all, it is a well maintained home and so very beautiful. The location is great -we love the Country Store and the Highland Restaurant.

Spent most of the time reading in the 4 seasons porch. Great little cottage surrounded by trees. Comfortable beds and furnishings. Close to activities but gave the feeling of blissful isolation. We'll rent again in the future.

This property is very well kept. Very clean and comfortable. The owner has provided everything a guest could possibly need while being away from home. Communication with the owner was exceptional. She's an extremely caring and thoughtful person. We felt like we were at home. I highly recommend staying at this house. It is close to main Street and the Marina and even Iowa. It is very peaceful and comfortable. We will definitely rent from Maggie again. You can eat off her floors! Many compliments to you Maggie 😁 thanks again

Family weekend
Very comfortable house with plenty of room for our family to enjoy a restful weekend. Propane grill worked well and we ate on the deck. Used the pool in the Territory to swim and cool off, went boating and fishing on Lake Galena, and hiked in the area at a park with terrific views. The town is charming to explore as well. We did not exhaust the possible things to do. A family of turkeys lives in the yard. Everyone had a good time.

Loved everything about this place! Beautiful wood, big windows with lots of light, VERY comfortable beds, lots of good sized bathrooms for our big group of girls and it was clean and roomy. Maggie answered all our questions and sent helpful details. We used the Galena General Express ride service to easily get to and from Galena. The Owner's Club pòol was a great perk to renting in the Galena Territory. Highly recommend renting this great property to take in the Galena area.

Wonderful stay!
Very nice weekend getaway. The house and kitchen were well stocked, comfortable rooms. Beautiful, peaceful community. From the patio we saw deer, a groundhog and a turkey with tiny babies. We visited the bird sanctuary, historic Main Street and did the goat trek. Enjoyed everything. Thank you!

Secluded Getaway
This is an excellent property for a getaway. Secluded in a residential neighborhood. This home provides a great romantic getaway. The fireplace was awesome, and each bedroom had it on ensuite. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils you will need. We enjoyed the patio/deck and we even had a visit from a few wild Turkeys. I would recommend this as a #1 getaway.

PERFECT GETAWAY
Great 3 day spring break getaway. House was perfect for the grownups and teens to have their own areas. Kitchen had all the spices we needed. Teens loved the clubhouse with pool tables and swimming. Of course shopping in Galena was a hit. Couldn't have asked for more. House had all we needed. The common areas aren't very big but worked fine for us. It was too cold to use the decks and sunroom. We did grill one night. Would recommend this house and the owner was great with responding to questions and sending ideas for things to do. I really wanted to do a goat walk but no one else wanted to. So sad.

Just the right size!!!
This house was bright and cozy and just as described on Vrbo. It was the perfect size for the 6 of us. What I really liked was the high ceiling with the balcony AND it did not echo or sound empty. Also, the 3 seasons room was quaint. We had a small issue with housekeeping, which was quickly resolved. Would stay there again.

Beautiful property, gracious host.
The home was beautiful, inside and out. It was perfect for my 2 sisters and I to celebrate all of us being retired. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom and enjoyed our stay. We had some questions and our host answered our questions immediately. She even stopped by and was very personable and helpful. It's a gorgeous setting and a very nice and quiet neighborhood. The restaurant at the golf course was excellent. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Maggie 😊

Great Beautiful place
Beautiful area. Nice house. Beds were comfortable. Felt nice and cozy. I have 2 friendly suggestions. Not all the TVs or remotes worked and allot of dust on the ceiling fans. It is a beautiful home, and we would love to come every year. Thank you!
