Great vacation spot
Our family stayed for a few days of skiing and vacation. The house is great and comfortable. The pool table and hot tub are great! Plenty of space for the kids to spread out and have their space.

Spring Break Birthday Getaway
Great relaxing time away with friends and our teenagers. The kids enjoyed the amenities at the Ownership Club and all enjoyed the home, pool table and hot tub.

Rental for family wedding
We rented this place for our daughter’s wedding which was at Ashton Hill Farms and it was only a 15 minute drive to there. The house had more than enough room to accommodate he 9 people and the range of ages that were staying with us. It was a very nice place with a beautiful view and quiet neighborhood. I would not hesitate to rent from them again and would definitely recommend it to others!

Beautiful home
The home was well-appointed with tastefully a decorated interior and great landscaping. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. Lots of space for 2 families to share. Plenty of beds and couches. Good internet and water pressure. It was nice to have access to the Owners Club where there is a swimming pool and game room. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this home.

Perfect long weekend family gathering
We met family friends for a long weekend and we all agreed it was just fantastic. Plenty of room for four adults, four children (aged 6-14) and one sweet puppy. The company responded promptly when we hit a small snag with the hot tub and we had excellent hot tubbing all weekend long. The pool table was a great hit, as were the fire pits and hiking trails. We went on trail rides and had wonderful riding lessons from the nearby stable, and swam in the owners pool nearly every day. A surprise hit was playing life-sized chess at th e resort and finding the blacksmith shop downtown Galena. The property was clean and well appointed.

One room had no electricity when we arrived. Had to flip breaker. The rest of stay lights flickered. No side lamps worked, only overhead lights. Handle in downstairs bathroom was broke. Many dead spiders along baseboard on basement.

Family Weekend
We had a wonderful stay! Communication with the host was excellent. They were very prompt in getting back to me with questions that I had prior to our visit. The home was beautiful with many things included that we did not have to bring ourselves, such as, coffee maker, grill, firewood, blender, and a wide assortment of cooking and baking pans. The home accommodated our 10 family members nicely. Everyone appreciated having their own bathroom. Each bedroom had their own TV,except the TV in one room did not work and the TV remote was missing in the other room. We didn't mind because we did not spend alot of time watching TV. The pool table downstairs was something that everyone enjoyed. We went to the nearby owners club to go to the pool which was very nice and clean. We felt welcomed by the staff who were very friendly. We also went to the Farmer's Market at the owner's club. One night we grilled out on the back deck and I found myself leaning up against the side of the deck and it felt a little wobbly. I found myself warning family members about it,so I thought it was a bit unsafe. Overall it was a great place to stay and I would definitely stay there again!

Adequate Stay, Needs Work
Positives: The property was beautiful and location to town was fantastic. The hot tub and shopping were perfect girls weekend away. The property manager was kind enough to let us check in early due to pending weather and had great communication. The house had all necessary amenities. The showers were wonderful, but not enough hot water for more than 2-3 showers total of quick/medium length. We were a group of 5 so we managed, but would be difficult for larger groups. Needs Improvement: The biggest fault is the price based on condition of property. I know Galena is a hot spot but the house needs some TLC. There was a lot of visible dust and dirt on fans, above headboards and in bathrooms. The wallpaper in one of the bathrooms is coming off. It just felt slightly abandoned from recent care and dingy. The dishwasher trays were broken, as well as a table in the living room, and a drawer in the laundry room. Most of these are asthetic but would hate for a renter to be held responsible for upkeep that isn't being done at some point. One of the double beds downstairs is not useable. The bed has a complete visible slant in the mattress that has some sort of damage to the mattress itself. When you lay on one side you feel like you are rolling onto the floor, when you lay on the other you are so high you feel like you are sleeping on the curve of a hill. It wasn't a comfort preference, it was a use ability problem.

House was perfect for our large family. Super clean, very spacious, and great amenities. We came for a holiday festival and there happened to be a Christmas market at the club house. The kids also utilized the indoor pool and locker room which were great.

We had a wonderful weekend in Galena. The home was amazing. We had three couples and had tons of room. Used the hot tub several times as well as the outdoor firepit. Great home and location.

Girls getaway
The moment you stepped into the home you knew is was going to be the perfect place to unwind. We loved the open concept. It allowed us to sit and visit while others were cooking or fixing a drink. Beds were comfortable. We loved the outdoor space. The kitchen had everything we needed. I'd suggest you take extra ice. The ice maker couldn't keep up with our clan. We had an issues with the hot tub not staying hot but we think it was a user error. We would highly recommend this place to stay.
