"The house is very comfortable and has everything you need for your stay, with several shops and supermarkets close by to stock up on groceries etc. Location wise, it’s perfectly situated to visit all the towns and beaches that the area has to offer. Renting a car is a must to explore the area. Emiliano (the host) and his son were fantastic in giving advice of places to visit and see and made our stay very comfortable. Any questions we had they were happy to answer. We can’t wait to come back...

"The house was very spacious. It was very clean. It had a lovely private garden/ orchard and although the pool was not big it was good for cooling off. There was a cafe next door and a bakery next door to that. There is a supermarket about 3mins in the car away and there are a few local restaurants. We only ate at one, Il Sogno.. "This is a beautiful house in the peaceful countryside and completely private. It is situated just over 2km from the centre of Martano. The house is spacious and well equipped and the outdoor terraces were perfect for sunbathing and meals. Very friendly, helpful and generous hosts. One potential downside of the property is that it is on a busy road. The property could also benefit from an outdoor seating area and the kitchen from a couple more appliances (e.g. a kettle, a toaster...)"

"The property is not walking distance to Castro as described. This should be removed from the description as you need a car to to anywhere. It has lovely views but for the price lacks the higher end facilities that we would expect e.g. the kitchen had many appliances but most were old and could do with replacing. There was ample linen though the towels were not very hard. Outside the small pool had only 2 sun beds both of which had seen better days. For a 4 bed villa 2 beds were not sufficient...

"Basic house with well documented issues with shower problems. Quiet location although you can hear people moving and talking in the adjoining villa. The swimming pool was beautiful but cold, and in a beautiful well kept garden. Salvatore and Rosie were extremely welcoming and gave very useful local advice, as well as providing us with an excellent Apulian meal."
