"The b&b was quite unique, being built above volcanic rock laid down centuries ago and sharing it with an ancient amphitheatre. Our suite was spacious, attractive had vistas featuring the rock and the amphitheatre. There is a room fridge, two wardrobes and two large screen TVs...OK if you speak italian. The shared kitchen area and patio were a bonus. Our host, Anna, was lovely, so helpful and interested in how our visit was progressing. A pleasant change from hotel staying. "

"We booked 2 large and charming king sized bedrooms for the 3 of us (adults), & both rooms had private bathrooms. The baths were updated in space, with plenty of hot water & fabulous water pressure. However (typical to traditional B&B's) they were not ensuite & had no A/C; which would have been welcomed in the unusual June heat. "We stayed in a delux triple room with balcony which overlooked the street. Large airy room with the most fabulous ceiling. Plenty of sockets. Aircon worked well. Double glazed balcony doors cut out any noise. Super comfy beds, great quality sheets. Spacious bathroom, cleanliness was excellent. We were greeted on arrival by Kunal, he kindly explained the locks, keys and security features for entering and leaving yhe building, then showed us to our room.
