"This property is UNSUITABLE for pilgrims, despite its close proximity to the Camino del Norte. There were no washing or drying facilities for clothes beyond ones ability to improvise in the bathroom. The owner was uncontactable and did not respond to my WhatsApp message written in Spanish. They did not have a stamp for my Credencial del Peregrino to record my stay, a necessity to prove having walked the route. "Absolutely gorgeous setting. Gracious host! Loved it!"

"We were 5 and stayed in the 8 beds room. The heater was switched on and beds were made when we arrived late in the afternoon. Aitor was there to welcome us and gave us a tour of the house which was recently renovated in mid 2022. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. The breakfast was the best we had during our 5 days trip in Pais Vasco. We ordered dinner from a local takeaway as we were too tired to go out. "Oscar speaks no English, but that was NO problem. Very accommodating and funny. We would have spent more time, but schedule did not allow. Breakfast was ready for us in the morning, and all the coffee we wanted. Old world charm, and very nice. Oscar truly was a great host. "

"Good basic Appart’hotel. Rooms were spacious enough and the outdoor pool was nice for a dip. The indoor pool with sauna etc definitely gave the standard of the hotel a boost. Nice 1 mile walk along the coastline into the city centre, or the bus stop is close to the hotel. Areas for improvement/watch-outs….. our room was not cleaned once in 4 days. "Perfect apartment for a family of four. The kitchen was well equipped. I wish we knew in advance about the siesta window shutters. They are a great feature for travelers that want to rest during daylight on the arrival day. "
