The well-furnished apartment “Rosengarten” is part of the “Unterseeblick” guest house in Horn, a charming village on the “Hörni” peninsula, and is only a short walk from the lakeshore. The 55 m² apartment on the ground floor consists of a living room with a dining area, a well-equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms (one with 2 single beds) as well as one bathroom and can therefore accommodate 4 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, satellite television, a baby cot and a highchair. You can start the day with breakfast on the private covered terrace and spend the evenings with a glass of wine and tasty barbecued dinners in the shared garden area. From the bus stop, a 5-minute walk or 400 m away, you can get to the neighbouring town of Gaienhofen in 4 minutes. There you will find supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies, as well as several cafés and restaurants. The nearest beach, Strandbad Horn, is only a 15-minute walk (1.3 km) from the property, where you can take refreshing swims surrounded by a fantastic scenery and great views of the Swiss Alps. From Iznang, an 8-minute drive or 4.3 km away, you can board a ship to the island Reichenau, a World Heritage Site. From Reichenau, you can also take the train to Konstanz, famous for its picturesque old centre with centuries-old buildings and a cathedral. The pretty lakeside town of Radolfzell is a 16-minute drive (10 km) from Horn. The area offers numerous great hiking and cycling routes through scenic landscapes and along the lakeshores. An extinct volcano, the “Hohentwiel”, is a 30-minute drive (21 km) away and offers fantastic views over Singen and the scenic landscape after you have hiked up. In winter, you can even go skiing a 44-minute drive (33 km) across the nearby Swiss border.
