"I rented the property as a place for my immediate family to stay while we attended our family reunion in Iron River and explored the western part of the UP. The house had plenty of room for my wife & me, my mom, my son and his girlfriend, with more beds that we didn't use. The bottom floor is an apartment all to itself. "Was great until one of my grown children stood up from the kitchen table and hit their head on a chandelier globe that was directly above their chair. The globe shattered, and the owner withheld an exhorbitant amount from my security deposit for repairs. I reported the damage immediately, thinking it might cost $50-100 to repair/replace a single 10-inch glass globe. I was given excuses for why they needed 10x that amount to restore chandelier to an acceptable condition. Just be ready to pay...
