"Check in was from 2pm, was asked to return in 2 hours! Paid extra for breakfast as was told she wasn't making anything by including it in the price. View wasn't as described. My mattress had a large dent in. Breakfast was self service and someone had already sat at our table. No milk supplied for cereal, had to wash the used cup so I could have a drink. Nobody available to help. "

"Liked this old town property. Made you feel like you were a resident of Passau. Had two bedroom with kitchen. Master bedroom had quaint balcony. Located above a nice cafe'. They do not have a front desk so you need to check in at the cafe'. When checking out, they didn't seem to have the record that I prepaid on Orbitz, but all was worked out."

Is a gorgeous family owned placed. The food is exquisite/delicious. The rooms are nicely done and minimalist AND VERY CLEAN. "Hotel is very nice in a beautiful location on the River Ilz. Fabulous hiking trails at the doorstep. Our room was good, with a balcony, but the view was lacking. Maybe a river view room could be requested? Breakfast featured great coffee, perfectly done boiled eggs, cheese, yogurt and fruit. The bed was comfortable and the lighting was good for reading. Loved the quirky little knick-knacks in the common areas. Enjoyed the fresh trout at the restaurant."

"We had a great stay in Hauptmannsberg near Aidenbach in the lovingly refurbished farmhouse. Although the house was a little more remote than we expected, we were able to visit nearby towns and cities easily. The neighbors were very nice. We bought eggs from one neighbor and another neighbor accepted a stroller which was lost at the airport.
