"Lovely room. Nice view. Always boats moving past. Good food and bar. Really nice staff. Decent spa and pool. Very good free parking. Our room didn’t have air conditioning but that wasn’t a problem for us. Lovely walks for many miles alongside the canal and river. "

"Our second visit here, because we enjoyed it so much the first time. Balcony room leads out to a nice well-maintained space. Bathroom has an excellent shower, bed is comfortable and sizeable. Easy walking distance to the town centre, and a couple of excellent restaurants and pubs close by. Only slight downsides are that a bath would be nice, and even though there is a substantial breakfast buffet there is no facility for other meals or room service."

"The contactless check in was confusing and difficult. The was no one at the desk, inside a locked door. Opening the doors was weird and no instructions. The room smelled of bug spray so strongly it was hard to sleep. No instructions on checking out, just had to guess."

"This was the second time we stayed, we had stopped here on our way to Denmark and were so impressed we booked to stay again on the way back to the UK. Hannes worked tirelessly at breakfast time making sure everyone was happy and really made it such an enjoyable experience. I wouldn't hesitate to book a short stay here again. "The room was great - clean with comfortable bed and bedding. I found all the staff very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast. Lots of choices, all fresh, including cereal, muesli, fresh fruit, selection of breads, eggs and bacon, cold cuts and cheeses. Also a nice selection of teas and coffee/espresso. There was nothing else that I would have wanted. I saw that another guest complained that there were no eggs, but I never experienced that during my stay. I found that the staff was...
