"The Pousada is cleaverly designed with the rooms in small cottages with pleny of vegetation. The cozy dinning room for the incredibly good breakfast (included) is next to a small but inviting pool, and a river that leads to the Paraty Bay and the historic center. The manager and owner were always on premises, were super attentive and accommodated all our requests. "Beautifully decorated and kept inn right in Paraty's historic centre. Absolutely pristine in terms of cleanliness - I've never been in a hotel so clean. The staff of women are incredible - warm and kind and helpful. I don't speak Portuguese, except for the owner they don't much English, but they were so ready to help me and to provide recommendations. Great breakfast and again the lovely lady making breakfast wrote out the names of Brazilian foods I didn't know. The room was beautifully decorated in keeping with the feel of the historic building. The bed was very comfortable with lovely soft sheets, all the amenities you need. Loved the hammock on the balcony. There's a nice little swimming pool at the back to dip in on a hot day and a bar if you need refreshment. It's in a great location in the historic centre, easily walkable to everywhere you'd want to see in Paraty, but on quite a quiet street so it is nice and calm. Very close to the little port for boat trips and on the same street as the cultural centre and right next to the little theatre. Lots of cafes, shops and restaurants within minutes of walking. I would highly recommend staying here."

"The public area is more wonderful and very well designed, the rooms were plain, not great. But the biggest problem is the service, the front desk lady was the worst. She said we had to pick a boat trip that day for the next day, and tried charge us over twice the price! She said she'd send the link, when she didn't we just walked over to the port after she gave us the wrong directions. We selected a boat and when we got on she kept texting me in capitals on WhatsApp what boat we were on. When I asked why she said she was worried about us. No doubt it was for commission. I never told her. Then the next day when we left the hotel she sent us a picture of a shattered TV and sai we broke it. When I pointed out that the layout of the room was not the same of as as ours and that wasn't even our room, instead of apologizing she just didn't reply. Judging by this I really wonder about her stability if they fire her, I would reconsider this hotel despite the plain rooms. Terrible experience."

"Ótima hospedagem! Em 3 minutos eu estava na rua principal de Paraty e em 10 min andando tranquilamente eu estava na ponta do cais quase dentro do barco. Café da manhã ótimo e é uma das primeiras pousadas custo benefício que vou que há uma variedade boa de café da manhã. O que me impressionou muito foi a calmaria do local, eu estava super próxima da rua principal mas sem o alvoroço de uma rua principal. Voltando em Paraty voltaria mais vezes. Elogio extra à recepcionista da manhã e a arrumadeira da manhã, duas queridas e super gentis comigo e meu namorado :)"
