"We spent one night at Mariano IV Palace Hotel. The hotel has a glamorous exterior, but the rooms are a bit dated once you step inside, although they were clean. We encountered some difficulty during check-in as they seemed to have overlooked our Expedia request, which is understandable since we booked just an hour before arrival. "This was definitely not 4 stars, it was 3 star’s experience. I had to drag my suitcase in a dirt road for a quarter of a mile as they wouldn’t let me in the resort to drop off my huge suitcase, despite me asking for it and pointing it out. The nature at the facility was really beautiful, the horseback riding was a nice touch. But the facility, restaurants and service were still at 3 star lever and not 4 starts. "

"Beautiful hotel in a lovely quiet setting and good service. Sadly our stay was marred by a dripping air conditioning unit all night although this was reported to hotel staff in the early evening. Staff were to be fair were very apologetic. Dinner was good but not spectacular. Disappointed as really looked forward to our stay here."
