"The hotel was lovely and the area was gorgeous. The breakfast buffet was good, however the dinner menu was limited...maybe because it was over the New Years holiday. Not close enough to Omachi City to be walkable to other restaurants. We will definitely stay again in the spring, as it is also on a golf course. "

"We enjoyed our stay here and was pleasantly surprised with how accommodating our host was. We were nervous after reading some reviews complaining about how the host was unhelpful or the property was lacking but our accommodation had everything we needed and was nice and warm. The host explained the bus schedule to us when we arrived and it was very easy to access Happo One within 10-15 minutes on the shuttle. "Stayed only a single night here after doing the Alpine route as it's very convenient and close to the station. It's a decent place, not too fancy. Room was an ok size, bit squishy for afamily of 4.Bonus was the public baths which is always nice in Japan."

"The inn proprietors were exceedingly helpful, friendly and kind. We felt very welcomed. The onsen bath was beautiful and very relaxing. They provided some nice spa products that I enjoyed.
