"This is an old merchant house that has been nicely remodeled as a hotel. It's smack in the middle of Tomonoura's historic renewal district. The room I had was spacious, comfortable, and nicely designed. This hotel requires some pre-planning: getting the shuttle bus from Fukuyama, making sure basic needs are met (no onsite staff, except at breakfast time). "A short walk from the airport made the Hiroshima Airport Hotel very convenient. We were able to walk from and back to the airport the following morning to catch a bus to Hiroshima Station to catch a train to continue our journey. The hotel's breakfast buffet is delicious and plentiful, one of the best we've ever had! We hightly recommend this hotel."
