When we arrived at Cedar River, I found that the cabin I thought I reserved was not the one I actually reserved. Fortunately for us Nikki was there to check us in and helped us upgrade to a bigger cabin to fit our family and puppies. "Great place, that's why we book this place every time we come to Illinois. Great neighbors who are very friendly and the setting is relaxing and beautiful. The cabin has all you need, just bring your clothes. The host were very helpful when we didn't receive our door code and responded quickly. We will be returning soon."

"the event center is in the process of development, with construction workers and miscellaneous characters running about. The cabins are almost brand new (business est 2021) and they are continuing to build more cabins. The cabins all sleep 4+ people, but the interiors would be cramped for more than 2 because of the smaller appliances and plumbing installed. They utilize window AC/heater units that are really loud and located right next to the main bed...woke me up every time it kicked in!...

"We weren't sure what to expect and gosh were we blown away! The property is so quiet and so well tended. The pool was still open, warm and the cleanest I've ever been in. "The house is well equipped and attractive. You should be aware that there is one bedroom on the main floor, but 2 are up a rather steep staircase. We would definitely stay again. "
