Enjoy a private, 3-acre oasis, with a 7-person hottub, 75" TV and electric fireplace, outdoor fire pit, 5 bedrooms, and 4 full bathrooms. Nearby attractions include Luray and Skyline Caverns, Skyline Drive, more than a dozen wineries within 10 miles, and plenty of options for hiking, dining, and exploring.
The Space
We set up our property around gathering spaces to allow you to enjoy time with friends or find a place for some deserved seclusion. When you arrive in the main home, you'll immediately enter in the kitchen set up with all the basics plus much more for baking, cooking, and entertaining. The dining area is set up for up to ten guests (plus more at the nearby kitchen island if needed) and is the perfect spot to enjoy your culinary creations.
To the left when you enter is the Great Room, you'll find the theatre space with a custom-built mantle featuring a 70" electric fireplace and 75" TV.
And of course, you won't want to miss what makes this space so unique. You'll find the front wall combines with the exterior of one of the area's original dwellings, a 1789 restored log cabin. Entry is accessible only through the Great Room and once inside, you'll find our custom-built game table (with plenty of options to choose from nearby). Venture upstairs to find a small sitting loft perfect for enjoying a happy-hour glass of wine or catching up with friends.
On the other side of the house, you'll find the master suite with a king-sized bed and another full bathroom. Upstairs, you'll find our red, green, and blue bedrooms, each set up with either a king or queen bed and a desk/chair for when, despite your best wishes, the office calls. And finally, our basement features two twin beds, giant Connect Four and Jenga Games, and extra office space.
As you enter the backyard from the Great Room, you'll find a path towards our 7-person hot tub and fire pit. On the porch itself, you'll find some of our favorite hanging chairs and a grill for the summer and fall cookouts. Don't forget to grab the provided bocce ball set and other yard games to enjoy the open private backyard.
Nearby you will find several wineries and options for hiking and river adventures. At the top of our list we recommend Fox Meadow Winery (reservations sometimes required and a 20-minute drive). You'll enjoy stunning views of the valley and great wine. Chester Gap Cellars also offers fantastic views of the Shenandoah Valley and highly rated options. We also recommend Aspen Dale Winery for a farm-based winery or Naked Mountain Winery for a more modern experience.
Dinner options abound on Main Street in Front Royal, a 15 minute drive away where we recommend checking out Vibrissa Beer & Kitchen or Main Street Mill. Don't forget dessert at C&C Treats! If you need something a bit closer, Henry's Grocery offers grab and go options and is a great place to pickup essentials just 5 minutes away.
Finally, check out Front Royal Outdoors for river adventures, Skyline Caverns, or take a drive down Skyline Drive for spectacular views in Shenandoah National Park. You really can't go wrong!
We welcome up to two dogs at this property - please add a pet to your reservation to cover additional fee.

We have guest wellness and safety guide all of our decisions. All bedding, including sheets, quilts, and blankets are washed between every reservation and all bedrooms have smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and multiple fire extinguishers are available. Our cabin also has a Minut sound monitoring device centrally located in the Great Room - the device monitors decibel levels but does not collect or record audio. It's settings are triggered to let us know when noise at the level of a party is present.
Our road serves only four homes and unpaved for about 300 feet prior to your arrival. As such, we recommend 4WD or AWD when snow is expected or present. In the spring and summer months, lots of turtles and other wildlife cross the road often, so please proceed slowly!
And finally, most cell providers get coverage at the house, except for Verizon. If you are traveling with Verizon, make sure to enable Wi-Fi calling on eligible devices - this will enable you to call and text over Verizon’s network when you on our reliable and high-speed Wi-Fi (approximately 600 mbps suitable for video streaming and downloading, conference calls, and most gaming).
