Somewhat last minute, I booked my stay over a holiday weekend when other arrangements fell through, so my overall options in the region were quite limited. I was very glad to have this small cabin vs. a generic chain hotel in Front Royal, Manassas, or Dulles, allowing me to enjoy the beauty of Northern VA before attending a huge, busy conference in DC. The cabin and its location are clearly more suited for people who are taking advantage of the outdoor activities in the vicinity rather than wine tasting, which was the downside for me--there was coffee and a coffee maker in the cabin, but no coffee (e.g., powdered) creamer, and there really weren't places nearby to buy some, much less get breakfast nor just a cup of coffee to-go. There was plenty of soap, shampoo, bubble bath, towels, etc. Bed was great. Location was quiet and peaceful. I had no issues with my GPS working, but apparently some people do have problems so Sandra makes EXTRA sure you have clear directions prior to arrival. The inside of the cabin is nicer IRL than it appears in the photos.
