"Wonderful time. The Bee Keeper talk was a highlight!"

"The rooms seem recently renovated with luxurious furnishings and bedding. The bathroom had a nice heater in it, which was nice with the cold weather. The staff were very communicative and helpful and facilitated self-check-in. Our only complaints were that the floors were very creaky (may be bothersome for people on first floor) and that the internet was very slow and unreliable."

"Great one night stay for our trip to Bar Harbor and Acadia. A bit cold at night esp the floor!!! Small heater in cottage which made it a bit more tolerable. Not sure I would stay more than one night esp in the fall. I’m sure it’s different in the summer. Wonderful owners very friendly and informative. Lovely grounds and quiet at night. "

"The cottage was cute and well equipped. At first as we were driving there it seemed so far off the beaten path. As we ventured out the next day to Acadia National park we realized we weren’t that far away. It was about a 45 min drive. We do like to watch a little tv before bed; so, if you want a tv, there is no tv. We listened to our music. It was a little too cold to sit outside to do any star gazing. The view of the sunrise over Cadillac mountain was beautiful!"

"Loved the house and the location,but the house was not cleaned from the previous guests..fortunately the folks who rented before us weren't messy..i had to put my girlfriend to work cleaning toilets,making beds and doing the last guests laundry, but other than that house and property were awesomr"

Beachfront Brooklin Studio with Private Balcony!

Beautiful Apartment with Beautiful view.

"We truly enjoyed our stay at Beachfront Brooklin. A beautiful estate on the ocean with private access to an apartment. The owner was a gracious host and provided us with amenities that were unexpected. One of the nights we stayed was that of the supermoon. It was beautiful on the water and we felt safe to walk down to the beach in the evening. This property was our favorite out of all the other places we stayed during our New England trip. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer. We hope to be back someday. "

"This is a great property away from the tourist areas but close enough to make short trips to the tourist areas if you want to see the sights. The hosts had some great suggestions for sights that only the locals knew of. A great stay!"

Oceanfront retreat with sunrise views, screened porch, & deck

The View is Everything!

"Arrived to a clean, well decorated cottage. Smaller than expected for four adults. The view made up for any shortcomings. A small screened in porch, a deck, large flat granite rocks, the outside seating options are numerous. Best part of our day, coffee on the deck watching lobster boats, hearing loons, marveling at the sunrise. Be aware the use of the fireplace is prohibited. Would have been great on a rainy day. Location is good with proximity to Ellsworth for groceries, Bucklyn coffee in Blue Hill. Brooklin Country Store for breakfast sandwiches and baked goods, annd other surrounding areas. Again, while a bit tight in the living room and kitchen, the view and outside area made this a strong option for a repeat visit. "
