Getting around
The best way to get around and see the Isle of Wight is by car. If you don't want to go by car then there is a bus service. The Isle of Wight bus service is called “Southern Vectis, the island buses”. You can download their App which is very useful. The nearest bus stop is at the beginning of Monks Lane where it meets Colwell Road. The busses that stop there are the "Island Coaster" or the "Needles Breezer". These buses go to most of the islands’ main coastal attractions. The other main route runs to Newport and interlinks with other internal routes around the island is the number 7 Bus. The nearest bus stop for this route is either Brambles Corner or adjacent to Heathfield Close.
