"The internet was broken, no elevetor - no airconditioning and the bugs - flies and wasps flew into the room. Had to have the windows open because it was so hot. Nice older couple ( I'm 74 myself) but in way over their heads. Really too bad. I booked another hotel through expedia and move - a good hotel the Mercure."

"I had a very nice week at City Pension Berlin. The place is two minutes from S-bahn station Charlottenburg, which make it easy to get around in the city. My room was clean and I slept very well in a nice bed. I found the staff friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good. It was a nice atmosphere there. Right next to the pension there are lots of restaurants, cafès and shops. I would come back next time in Berlin!"

"The entrance and access to the rooms was dirty and unwelcoming. There was a lot of noise from delivery trucks and garbage trucks. There was no reception to speak of and this made it difficult to organise anything like taxis etc to get around. Extremely rude and arrogant manager who swore and used foul language when we made a comment that he was not very helpful or courteous.
