"Troy & Jo have a super Bach which is perfect if you want to spend a few days enjoying everything that Pelorus Sound can offer. The standard of accommodation is very good and showers and cooking options are excellent. Troy was an excellent and very helpful & responsive host. We enjoyed our visit and would certainly consider returning if we visit Marlborough Sounds again."

"Situated overlooking Portage and 270deg views. Had a perfectly relaxing weekend with kayaking and walking and plenty of spa time. You don't have the house to yourself which we didn't realise when we booked it. However, you don't see the owners and your little self contained room is accessible without disturbing them."

"The place is remote and fabulous with a steep gravel driveway and set far above the road for noiseless nights of stargazing. It requires a little bit of off grid savvy but nothing even this 60 year old New Yorker couldn’t learn in seconds. The view is absolutely stunning, the house is quite comfortable. Very comfortable beds, spotless, shower, washing machine, beautiful, wounding, deck, Thoughtful touches as well, kitchen with small walkin pantry was clean and well-equipped. Surrounded by lush, native bush, and expensive view of the sounds with swimming just down the road at the beach, hiking in either direction up and down the road, this place was a real winner. Communicating with Beth was fast easy and informative, I really love this place."

"Great location and has everything needed. Shame there isn’t much sun that gets into the house. Smelled quite musty but easy to air out. Great hosts, easy to deal with."
