"Lovely clean appartment. But parking was too tight. The kitchen was great but could be kitted out better with mixing bowls, chopping boards, scissors and paper towels. Loved the use of spa but temperature kept dropping. Couple extra towels for spa use would've been good. Overall a happy stay."

"Such a special spot. Incredible views and an all day sun trap. A comfortable and cosy bach. Bird life is amazing and the bird feeders bring them right to you. While not fully fenced the property was great for our dog. We had a great time exploring Akaroa and parts of Banks Peninsula. We would love to return for another stay. "

"We stayed for one week in this lovely townhouse. The location is within easy walking distance to the town centre. The place is spotlessly clean and well equipped. The host is attentive and responds quickly to all correspondence. It is easy to find parking in the street outside the building, we didn’t have any issues during our stay. If we return to Christchurch, I am hoping we can stay here again."

"We really enjoyed our short time in this unique house, lovely views to enjoy while relaxing on the deck, short walk to the jetty where the kids swam even though it was unusually cold for January. Beautiful beach for swimming and exploring. The house is spacious and quiet."

"After a few sterile, soulless holiday rental experiences our family was so grateful to stay in such a homely character filled space. We appreciated the beautiful garden, and the well equipped high quality kitchen and bathroom. The outdoor dining was fab! Potential guests with young children should be aware that there are a lot more personal ornaments and decor around the house than depicted in the photos. "The house was perfect for our family holiday. Unfortunately the weather was terrible and we only had one sunny day. The games room was a blessing. Driveway was challenging with a boat but we managed. A good time was had by us all. "
