"What a great cabin! We had a great time, it was the end of February and cold and the cabin was nice and cozy warm. Very well appointed, anything and everything you would ever need is in the kitchen. We did get to walk on a frozen Lake Erie and took many pictures. We were in the area to see our kids and grandkids and this was the perfect getaway from their everyday craziness. "The home was clean and well stocked, though the tap water has a strong sulfur smell so bring some bottled water if that would bother you. There are squirrels making a home in the eaves and will chatter territorially while you sit on the deck, but they're cute.... noisy but cute. We had hoped to be somewhere near the lake, but the close by lake front areas were privately owned so there were no lake views nor lake access for walks along the shore. Kayaks were available but the canal was uninviting...

"We enjoyed a nice weekend at the cottage. The house was perfect for a mini getaway with family. Very cute decor. It was close to the tubing lodge, arcade and other fun things to do with the kids. We enjoyed board games in the evening and made many fond new memories. The local coffee bean house was delicious for breakfast and we had a great dinner at skunk and goat. Thanks to the owners for sharing this special place. "

"I spent 3 October nights with my family including two kids, age 11 and 14. The leaves were beautiful and it was a very peaceful stay. We ate most meals in the house which had everything we needed in the kitchen. Bedrooms were comfortable. Great access to the lake where we were able to enjoy the northern lights. Cute enclosed porch where I could enjoy my morning coffee or a glass of wine at night. Would definitely stay again. "
