The French Camp Bed and Breakfast is a very pleasant and peaceful place to stay. It is quiet and remote, just off the Natchez Trace. I enjoyed walking around the grounds to see all of the old cabins and barns. It was like taking a step back in time. The restaurant on site was also great. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a peaceful getaway.
It was a lovely, historical/rustic B&B that fit in with the history of the Natchez Trace. It is housed in the old buildings of the old French Camp. Great place to relax and unwind. Excelllent breakfast.
This is a hidden gem. Rustic feel and very clean. We stayed in the main house where dining room and nice porch were located. There are 2 separate cabins. We enjoyed the main house where we met some nice people on the porch. We received a nice breakfast basket because it was Sunday. The other days breakfast would be served in dining room. Nice store and restaurant onsite with nice affordable menu items. It was very good eats. We were pleasantly surprised and would stay again.
Very confusing check-in We had to get instructions from another guest. WiFi only in main house not in any of the cabins. When there is no cell service WiFi is essential to a traveler in the modern world. Television was in the ad but not available. Should be noted this was a dry location which was not advertised as well Log cabin was nice and the location was pretty but misleading advertised amenities made for a disappointing stay.

Lovely fireplace in carriage house. Lovely trees surround cottage. Washer/dryer in kitchen was handy.
Original cabin booked was beautiful. Spacious and updated. Perfect for our family. We were relocated to a much more primitive cabin late that night because the hot water heater didn’t work in our cabin. Very disappointed to end up in a cabin I didn’t choose that was no where close to comparable to what I paid for.
Cabin was beautiful and very comfortable. Location was great for us along the Trace. Sissy was very welcoming. Breakfast was very good. Staff were very friendly.
We stayed at the Burford cabin. The king sized bed is comfortable and the window air conditioner kept the cabin cool. We had a fantastic dinner at the Council House Restaurant, a peaceful night’s sleep, and a good breakfast the next morning.
The stay here was awesome! I received a phone call from one of the staff named Monica explaining everything. When we arrived everything was very kind and welcoming. Whitney cooked breakfast for us and it was great! It’s a very unique place and we really enjoyed our stay. We definitely will be returning!
I did the whole Natchez Trace from Natchez to Nashville and French Camp Bed & Breakfast was one of the highlights of my trip. The quaint atmosphere and history of the area was indeed a treat. The grounds were well kept the buildings were amazing considering their history and age. The room was cozy, comfortable, and clean. The staff was amazing and spot on to take care of any needs. I can’t forget the breakfast is was a great southern breakfast and you didn’t leave hungry.
