"We stayed overnight on our way to board Havilla Ferry. The rooms were compact , but all we were looking for was a place to sleep and recover from jet lag. The breakfast was amazing! We could walk easily to shops, restaurants, and places of interest."

"Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Giselda front of house in the Breakfast restaurant was so welcoming it made me feel at home it was amazing how she remembered my name, prety impressive with the number of residents staying there in the hotel. Gave me a lovely send off .Frederick at the bar was professional, hard working and knowledgeable. The Breakfast was amazing with the choice , quality considering how many residents they had staying. "The hotel was within walking distance of dining, shopping and the Funicular. The breakfast offered each morning had a broad selection of breads, meats, cheeses and many types of egg dishes. The beds were probably the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"Excellent property. Great value. Some renos happening, but minimal noise and inconvenience. Very friendly staff. Great meals included in the price. I felt quite at home here as a solo traveller. I had a spacious twin room with bathtub and partial view of harbour and hillside houses. Charming. "

"Lovely classy hotel in an excellent area. Everything was walkable, and breakfast was amazing. A la carte and buffet options available. The room was elegant and cosy. It was my Wife's 50th birthday just before we stayed, and the hotel put out some fudge and hand wrote a birthday message that I prepared, on a lovely post card, which my Wife has kept as a keepsake. I wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you Opus XVI for a wonderful stay."
