Find Hotels with a Pool in Freetown

"We had paid for reservation for 4 rooms for 4 people. Arrived late night/early morning 3.00 am and find out there are no rooms available because the hotel is being renovated. They directed us to go to a different hotel providing no further assitance. Why they accept reservation and payment when the rooms do not exist is any body's guess. They left us starnded. What if it was a family who has never travelled to Freetown before. Bad experience. "

But this time around, I was very impressed with how much the hotel has progressed with its overall service: checking is faster and the staff friendlier and better trained, they do a better job at ensuring that rooms have everything needed and they are more reactive when the customer asks something( e.g extra towel, a spoon etc...). "I really appreciate the above and beyond service of the staff at Family Kingdom. My flight on Kenya Airways was delayed but the hotel staff person waited patiently at SeaCoach Aberdeen Bridge to pick me up. Great and friendly service at a reasonable price. "

"The service was excellent. The rooms are cleaned every day by very attentive staff. Ask for anything - you get it within 5 mins. The Operations Manager Sunil is very pleasant and responds quickly. I would give Sunil and the staff an A . The variety of food at the restaurant was ok. One area for improvement is the gardens around the chalets. At the time we went they were a little unkempt. I think we went in the slow season. This however did not take away from our fun."
