"We have an annual family and friends Tahoe winter trip usually the beginning of January before the kids go back to school. This was the first year we incorporated New Year's Eve into the trip and we were pleasantly surprised. Heavenly Village has a great fireworks show and concert, and the location of the house is perfect for hopping down to Stateline for the fun. The property is large and the house is well set up to hold couples and a few teens with room to move around. There's a large open family room/dining and kitchen area where we spent a lot of our time. There's a pool table game room downstairs as well as a comfy TV room that was great for the kids to watch movies and play video games at night. We did have a little problem regulating the heat between the downstairs and the top floor bedrooms, but I contacted the host and he immediately provided us with portable heaters to use downstairs so that we didn't have to turn up the heat and bake the upstairs bedrooms. It was a great place for our dogs to run around the back. The driveway is off of a main road and can be a bit tricky the first time but we never had a problem finding it afterwards. All in all it was well stocked, comfy beds, great location and worked for our large group. "
