Fall Asleep to Waves Crashing on the Beach after watching the sunset

Hear the soothing sound of the lapping waves from this West-facing. Excellent place to view sunsets from the screened in porch!

Take a walk down the beach to Sandy Point National Wildlife Refuge, the best beach in St. Croix, and the longest stretch of beach in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Relax in the pool on a lazy afternoon!

Buy local fruits, vegetables, and fresh-caught fish from a roadside vendor if you want to cook in your fully equipped kitchen.

There are ceiling fans and a cool breeze that flows through the unit as a result of being so close to the ocean! There is no a/c in the unit.

Dream place to stay. Incredible views and great host
Incredible 180 degree views of the blue ocean. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you will need and can think of. Essential condiments like oil, salt , sugar were provided . There was NO Air conditioning , but the lovely breeze compensated for it. It is a bit away from christianstead where major tours start from , but it was also very peaceful and quiet. The sound of ocean waves will put you to sleep in no time.

Love the beach
We have stayed on the property before so we are familiar. We love the fact that we can walk out the door and jump in the water and get some of the best snorkeling on the island, just turn left and jump in and also a plus turn right and a short walk to sandy beaches. The pier is a short drive or long walk. We also like having the pool on the property. Being a second floor end unit you get a nice breeze through the bedroom so sleeping is awesome. If I had to complain it would be about the internet but spotty and inconsistent speeds are more about the island service, steaming can be an issue but we didn't go there to watch TV just the gorgeous sunsets.

The condo did NOT have air conditioning. I don’t recall that in description. Daytime temperature 90’s. Nights 80’s. The walk in gate in front was not working correctly. The host were responsive. We informed the were only Two wash clothes. They drop four extra.

Beautiful View and snorkeling
Spacious condo worked great for our family of 4 adults… being on the second level… the view from the spacious lanai/ veranda is incredible.. you will see turtles and if it’s a good week maybe some dolphins like we did ! Also a spacious living room, modest but functional furniture…well equipped kitchen with everything you will need .. double sink vanity bathroom with nice shower..the outside grounds and common areas are very nice … chairs and tables .. we used the grill a couple nights , the pool and deck area is very nice and very well kept and clean ..on site caretaker was nice and very helpful if needed .. couple things of note … the condos are surrounded by fence for protection .. on one hand it feels safe to leave all your belongings while your gone .. on the other hand it does affect the view in some regards … also the ocean front immediately in front is rocky ( which is best for snorkeling and this is why I go .so I like that …. the sea life in front is the best right along this stretch of ocean front ..a beautiful sandy beach is just a few hundred yards north … Sandy point when open is just a minute drive south and can walk to it from there .. Overall a great affordable place… that can accommodate 4 …I will go back ..

Nice place on West side.
Great location to stay on west side. Short trips to all the needs, restaurants, shops, etc. Fantastic spot for snorkling/swimming, entry is a bit rough, but water is great, but there is also a pool and a grill :) Great place to stay and dive on the west side, Pier is a must night dive location. Apartment itself is huge and more than enough room for 4 guests for sure, full kitchen with everything you may need.

2 weeks of rest & relaxation @ Freriksted, St. Croix
We arrived late @ night, so we couldn't appreciate all the beauty there is in & around the condo. The next day we were very pleasantly surprised. The condo can accommodate up to 4 adults with their sleeping provisions. The décor was based on fish, including dishes, mugs, etc. We appreciated how every detail was considered. We had all the amenities of home w/o any of the upkeep. The condo was very clean & great for entertaining. The best feature of the condo was the sea immediately outside the gallery. Everyday & night we could hear the gentle tide on the shore. We snorkeled & found an abundance of ocean life. I enjoyed a dip in the sparkling pool every morning after breakfast. The compound that the condo is located in is fenced off & you need a remote control or the gate's code to enter in, very safe & secure. The condo had it's own laundry room with an extra large washing machine, so we didn't have to do laundry very often, which left more time for swimming, exploring, & sight-seeing. We did meet some of the other guests & residents, who were very friendly & knowledgable about the island & the sigts. We did have a car st our disposal, so we went to town & out to eat fairly often. We enjoyed going into town on days when the cruise ships were in, since all the local vendors came out to sell their wares. Most items were hand made on the island, so we helped to support their local economy. Don't miss the hook bracelets, the chaney, & the beautiful sea glass that was made into jewelry or just collected in containers. We went to see the mocha jumbies, the casino, the rainforest, the 2 rum distilleries & other sights of interest. We kept busy everyday for 2 wk & hated to leave. This was a wonderful get away from the cold & snow where we live. This condo was a great home base to start from, while exploring.

A Magnificent Treat
Our stay in this place was a surprise wedding gift from my groom's sisters – so I was not anticipating this at all. What a wonderful indulgence. I arrived in St. Croix expecting to spend my honeymoon bunking with family, so I wasn't prepared to be self-sufficient. I was delighted (and relieved) to discover that all I needed to be comfortable and happy in this condo was my own sunscreen! The condo had beach towels, so I didn't even need those. The condo is just minutes from the airport, so that was easy. And the team that does the Meet & Greet gives a great orientation to the condo complex and the area. During our stay we found that they were able to quickly answer all our questions. We arrived in the evening, after dark. The next day we discovered that our condo had views of the sunrise AND the sunset. Very beautiful. The gallery (which is like a giant screened-in deck) was a perfect spot for lingering or having a meal, with a mesmerizing view across the Caribbean sea – so vast and blue. All the expected features of a rental were included – comfy bed, well-appointed kitchen (with even a rice-cooker), very clean, and so on. We had a private laundry room, plenty of parking, and use of the community BBQ and pool. This is a SMALL complex and we actually encountered very few other guests (or residents for that matter). We usually had the (spotless!) pool to ourselves. The beach was truly just outside the door, clean sand with easy entrance into the ocean for snorkeling. I had heard that we would find lots of sea life as soon as we got into the water, but didn't believe it, not until I saw it for myself – so many kinds of fish plus octopus, squid, lobsters, conch, sea urchins, and farther out there were sponges and corals that were surreal. With a patient eye, turtles and dolphins can be spotted. In the end, the biggest challenge of our visit was deciding where and how to relax. The beach? The hammock? The pool? A walk to town? Reading? Sunning? Snorkeling? Beachcombing? I'm glad we had two weeks so we could fit in all the options for doing nothing!
