Two perfect suites for two perfect couples!

This is a beautiful handcrafted house with two, separate romantic suites that have a king bed, jetted tub, glass shower, fireplace, sitting area and mini-kitchen. The suites are separated by a brand new kitchen and dining area! It is perfect for two couples or a family traveling together!


The space:

Two luxury romantic suites that are rented together for two couples or a family. Each suite has a king size bed, fireplace, shower, jet-spa tub, refrigerator, microwave and a private patio.

There is a hot tub in the back yard with a charcoal grill and a fire pit. ( We don't supply firewood, so bring some along).

RIGHT NOW we are in a BURN BAN! NO OUTSIDE FIRES until further notice.

Our televisions are smart tv's, so use your passcodes for signing in to all of your favorite tv apps.

The location is about 1.2 miles from Main Street and some of the wonderful Fredericksburg nightlife. The house 1/2 block from RR 965, the road to Enchanted Rock State park. The suites are located in a very safe, quiet neighborhood with lots of privacy!

Fredericksburg is a city of beauty and charm. Its founding includes a rich history of people making a good life in a new place with the help of friends and neighbors. Working together, they created a city where all could live up to their potential, participate in activities, and benefit from services to enhance the quality of their lives. The spirit of working together to create a beautiful, livable place is still alive today in Fredericksburg and that spirit is responsible for the ambiance of the city today.
For cyclists, it is an easy access to most of the major cycling road in the hill country!

We provide robes, hair dryers, iron and ironing board, coffee, tea, and creamer for all of our guests. ALL linens are laundered and sanitized for each new guest! Th beds are THE most comfortable KING beds!

Guest access

Guests have access to their private outdoor patio with an outdoor shower, table and chairs, and the 4 person hot tub and seating area in the backyard.

Interaction with guests

I do not interact with guests unless they need help with anything. I live about 10 minutes away from Cross Mountain Retreat.

Other things to note:
The entrance is a keyed entrance so that there are no keys to deal with.

I rent Cross Mountain Retreat for a two night minimum.

We really enjoyed our Christmas!
We really enjoyed our stay at Cross Mountain Retreat for Christmas with my mom and sister. The bedding is so comfortable and it’s so nice to have a gas fireplace in each bedroom along with comfortable seating where we could visit and play games.

We loved our weekend getaway in Fredericksburg! This property is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood, perfect for morning or evening walks. The suites are very clean and nicely furnished. Beds are extremely comfortable, too. The weather was perfect during our stay. Both evenings we thoroughly enjoyed the back yard, hot tub and view of Cross Mountain.

Wonderful Property - Pictures don’t do it justice
The layout of the house with the suites was absolutely ideal for our family. The separate living spaces and bathrooms were well equipped and the added touches of the coffee/k-cups and black make up towels were very thoughtful. The pictures online don’t do it justice - would definitely stay here again.

Perfect getaway for two couples!
We had such a great time in Fredricksburg and staying at this house was the cherry on top! Everything was beautifully maintained and clean. The jet tub was exactly what I needed at the end of a long day. And omg, that bed! The most comfortable hotel/rental bed I have ever slept in. The sheets and bedding were incredible. We will most definitely be back!

Oh so cozy & comfortable!!!
This is the perfect getaway place in Fredricksburg!!! We loved it! Everything was perfect. The house and grounds are beautifully decorated. Very clean. Very quaint and romantic. The bed is the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. It was like sleeping on a cloud! I definitely recommend for a short getaway with someone special.

We enjoyed our stay! The property was clean and we loved the decor, fireplace, and hot tub. Unfortunately, there was no soap or shower gel for us at the property. The bottles in the shower were empty on our arrival. Easy fix, but a little inconvenient given we made our grocery run prior to realizing this. Check-in and check-out was easy and contactless.

Perfect getaway for a weekend of wine tours
The home is perfect for two couples looking to getaway for a weekend in Texas Hill Country. The suites were large, the beds comfortable, and the hot tub was a nice addition. We enjoyed making dinner in the kitchen, and appreciated the coffee machines in each suite. A suggestion for future use - have hot tub towels available specifically for the hot tub so guests don’t have to use the 4 bathroom towels allotted per bathroom for after the hot tub; extra soap and toilet paper in the residence would be useful along with an indoor broom/dustpan. But great place, and would recommend!

Very nice. Gave both parties privacy w each room having its own ensure. We gathered on the front porch for coffee or at the dining table to snack. It was perfect for us. Just wanted to relax. Didn't have time yo enjoy hot tub...one of these days....thank you!

We had a great stay here. We loved that 2 couples can stay and each have a private setting. It's a unique floor plan and we loved it. Each room has a comfy bed with sitting area and fireplace. The bathroom has a shower and jetted tub and the owner supplied bath gel, shampoo and body lotion. What a personal surprise to have full size items in the bath. Loved the coffee, tea & hot chocolate bar. All our creature comforts were met and more. We would love to stay here again sometime. Well done owners!
