1203 N Milam, also known as the Uncorked Cottage, has Vacation written all over it. and is a popular choice for families, couples, friends, small corporate retreats, and groups including bachelorettes. Those that stay come back again and again. This charming, super clean, vintage farm home is steeped in tradition and was once surrounded by acres and acres of peach and pecan trees, which is now central Fredericksburg. Its listed by Uncorked Vacation Rentals and is fresh from a remodel, and is the perfect blend of great amenities, location and comfort. This well planned 4 bedroom, 2 bath home, is only 12 short blocks from Main Street and has plenty of room for up to 10 adult guests .
The home has a large living/kitchen/dining area that works well for large groups. We have stocked the kitchen with loads of cookware, serving dishes and glassware to serve a crowd. The dining area has a table that expands for up to 10 . We've also included non breakables, booster seat, travel crib for the kiddos. The living room is large with plenty of comfy seating, a large screen TV, high speed internet, DVD player and lots of movies, games, toys and more.

The bedrooms are spacious and include 5 king beds and 1 queen, with comfortable beds and high end sheets. We have all kinds of pillows, extra blankets, and towels and include many other amenities that most homes do not have.

The large corner lot is partially fenced and has a hot tub for our guests as well as the all year awesome private heated pool, (fenced for kids safety), horse shoe pit, new volleyball/badminton area, tether ball, as well as other yard games and toys for the kiddos. Start the day with a dip in the heated swimming pool and then sit back in one of the loungers to dry off and soak up the sun. When it’s lunchtime, fire up the BBQ and enjoy lunch under the shaded pergola or front porch sectional, or hang out on the pool side sectional or lounge chairs . (see pool disclosure)
Note that the pool heater is set for about 85degrees March-Dec., but will not work if the outside temps are below 40 for more than 24 hours. If temps are that low then the heater will be turned off. This only happens 1-2 times per year so you have pretty good odds of being able to use it, but we can't guarantee it.

The kitchen has everything you’ll need to cook up large holiday meals, including loads of cookware, serving dishes, and glassware (we've also included non-breakable for use in the pool area). In addition to the standard kitchen appliances, you’ll also find a crockpot, waffle iron, blender, and an electric skillet.

The tea and coffee station, complete with two coffee makers, ground coffee, tea bags, non-dairy dry creamer, sugar, and sugar substitute, should make your mornings even better. Enjoy your meals and morning coffee at the large wooden dining table, or slide up to the bar on one of the three barstools.

The kitchen opens up into the sunny living room, and you’ll find plenty of seating here for your whole group. Relax to your favorite series or movies on the Hdtv, get lost in a book, or play a variety of board games. There are also toys for tots to keep the little ones happy.
