Please build a step for the tub and there are barking dogs that are disturbing your residence sleep. Other than those 2 things we had a great stay.

Very comfortable, overall enjoyed our stay. FYI, The coffee maker didn't work. The puncture rod that is supposed to punch a hole in the bottom of the cup was bent.

quick trip to the hill country
The little cabin was nice. we enjoyed our stay, when our schedule changed and we needed to stay an extra day they were able to accommodate us and their response to calls and e-mails were quick . I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed in the mill cabin for three nights. I was delighted to stay at this property considering that this was my first visit to the Fredericksburg area. I wasn’t disappointed at all. I will definitely consider this property again in my visit to the area.

Very nice, cute cabin. Walking distance to The Cabernet Grill, which is very good. Also, close to Lady Bird Johnson Park and the Gillespie Fairgrounds, if you are attending events at either. Outside of town, but still a very short drive. Even though you are next to Mr. Gatti's, it still has a country feel.

The venue includes a goldfish pond with a water wheel, great security, very cozy, and comfortable. It would be nice to have a gas burning fire place instead of a wood burning fireplace. I plan on renting again next year… Loved all of the decor. Ben and Cheryl

Loved the cabin and courtyard area. Had fun feeding the fish and enjoying the firepit and front porch area. Very clean and comfortable.Downside it's adjacent to a busy restaurant and highway. It would have been nice if they had included a stove top in the kitchen area. Overall a wonderful stay!

Anniversary Trip
We enjoyed our stay at the Grist Mill Cabin. Two things I would say. The steps are hard to navigate without a rail and the bathtub was hard to get in. We are both over 65 so in case you’re a senior citizen you might think about that. When we arrived on Monday around 6 PM we had to drive around the parking lot 3 times to find a parking place because Me. Gatti’s Pizza was busy.

Another great getaway at this cabin. We enjoy the atmosphere this cabin and the Livery Stable offer. The property manager was contacted due to a minor issue and the issue was addressed immediately. Great response.

Nice little getaway
My wife and I wanted to get out of town and stay somewhere for the evening. This worked out perfectly, we arrived late in the evening but was a little surprised that is shared the parking lot with a restaurant but due to our late arrival it wasn’t an issue. Nice place but also be aware that the toilet is only separated by a curtain so if you are shy around your partner just be aware.
