ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!!
This lovely Cottage, beautifully located on a fifty acre Ranch, is a perfect blend of old-style Texas tradition and modern amenities. It just "felt" comfortable the moment we walked in, and it truly was. A feeling that was wonderfully reinforced when we saw, what to us, were the three other, most important, things we need in any accommodation: it was spotlessly clean, very tidy and it had a huge, extremely comfortable bed. Superbly located in open fields, only 9 miles "away from the madding crowd" in Fredricksburg, it was our oasis of calm relaxation. Sitting outside on the deck, watching the sun go down, with the cattle quietly grazing in the distance, provided the perfect ending to a wonderful day strolling among the wildflowers. Our cockapoo puppy, "Millie", just loved it. She said it had everything she could want (even her own Water Bowl), and she could walk freely around the fenced yard, or even run around in the field outside (provided Dad would walk with her and keep her safe). Finally, we must thank the owner, Bill, who is a truly marvelous host! He is totally unobtrusive, yet there in a flash if you need help, questions answered or difficulties addressed. He is kind, considerate and friendly. A true Texas gentleman!

It was a wonderful experience. The cabin was clean, quiet, very accurate in the description, close to town, Pulling in, the cows were there by the cabin and it was a peaceful feeling. There was a bottle of wine and 2 glasses on the counter which was very nice. I hope to be able to stay there again when we go back to Fredericksburg. Thank you very much for the relaxing getaway.

We have stayed at this cabin before. Is so quiet. Clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again. The deer are a plus. My husband enjoys watching them come to feeder. We went to the hilltop cafe right down the road for Sunday brunch hour. So nice

Wonderful property, great host.
I've stayed here 3 times now and wish I could buy the place. The cabin is a wonderful getaway, so well-maintained and cozy. I think of it as a home away from home. Bill is an excellent host and an all-around top-notch guy. I think this property is the nicest rental I've ever stayed at!

Hunters paradise
This was one of the best Vrbo stays we have had and we have rented quite a few. My husband loves to hunt and watching the deer in the morning and afternoon made his trip. Was a quiet relaxing experience for me. Cabin was very clean. Well stocked. We extended our stay from 2 days to 5. Ready to return.

The property was perfect for our stay in Fredericksburg. The area was peaceful and the house was clean and comfortable for our pup and ourselves. We did not meet the owner but everything was provided to make our time spent here comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

Sweet Ole Place
It is a sweet ole place though I don't think the host is used to guests who cook all their meals in. Kinda slim on kitchen support items. But the bed and chairs are quite comfortable. There is no shower but it has a roomy spa tub. The place comes with the company of a very persistent, very vocal, very sad and sick old cat.

We enjoyed the place and the views a lot! The location is quiet and secluded and perfect for a couple and small child. We had a orange and black striped cat visitor who befriended us and our dogs. And we loved coming home to the white dogs who greeted us. We will be coming back this year for sure!

The country cottage
We just needed to get away for a couole days to unplug, relax, and enjoy some quiet. Our stay was perfect. We had privacy, quiet and a relaxed visit! Cottage was roomy and our dog loved the yard...especially the little deck.

Wonderful Stay
This quiet little place was just what we needed to relax and enjoy our weekend. The cottage was clean and the room stayed cool. The property is not that far from everything in town but away enough to enjoy your privacy. Would definitely recommend staying!
