Welcome to The Oak House - your very own private original Fredericksburg Sunday House!

This gorgeous Sunday House decorated by Jennifer Eggleston (one of Fredericksburg’s top interior designers) is close to everything Fredericksburg has to offer. Just a couple of blocks from Main Street, you are in the West End Entertainment District within walking distance to some of our best restaurants, live music, and Market Platz, the center of town!

The bedroom offers a king-size bed for two, and a sitting area that opens on to the front porch where you can relax in your rocker and enjoy the day. The bathroom has a wonderful new shower and the breakfast area is filled with light so you can enjoy your morning coffee.

With so much charm and a great location right in town, this Fredericksburg vacation rental might just be the perfect place for your next getaway!

*Children under the age of 17 are not allowed at this property due to safety hazards associated with an unfenced pool nearby.

**Please note that this unit is located on a very busy street and may be subject to road noise.

We’re excited to inform you that this unit utilizes a comfortable style of bed-making known as Triple Sheeting. Triple Sheeting is proven to be more hygienic and is used by five-star hotels around the world. It consists of a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, a blanket, and finally a decorative top sheet.
Due to this change, the pictures for this home may not accurately represent the bedding that will appear during your stay. This has not affected any other amenities or the amount of beds available.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Great little place
Went for a little weekend getaway and this place didn't disappoint. It was cute, clean, close to everything and you can tell the place has a long history of satisfied travelers by looking at the guest log books. I highly recommend.

This little cottage is tiny, but it's on top of a hill with a huge oak tree and looks like it belongs in a story book. Comfortable and very cozy.

Charming cottage
Charming, tiny cottage. Great location near Main Street. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Shower is very narrow, but fine for smaller people. There is a lot of traffic on road next to house and the traffic noise can be heard clearly in bedroom.

Excellent get away tiny home style
Loved everything about our experience! Close to Main Street, we never used our vehicle, walking distance from all that is Fredricksburg! Home was cozy and had comfortable bed. Shower was a little but it’s a tiny house great, but awesome water pressure! Staff was attentive and checked up on us! We will stay here for now on!

Property is too small and not safe
Shower is not large enough for an adult, outside light did not work so at night we had to enter in the dark. Steps to enter the kitchen are too steep and there are no dead bolt locks or adequate security to prevent break-ins. Management by Vacasa was excellent, but I would never stay in this place again.

Quick Trip

Fine for a one night stay
House is very cute and well kept, but very small. Shower is the size of an RV shower and the bathroom door has trouble staying shut. The outside traffic is quite audible inside the house. It was fine for our one night stay for a place to sleep.

Pint-Sized Perfection!
The cottage proved to be a comfortably cozy "small space" for my wife and I. All we required was a cozy bed , a bathroom , and a coffee maker to enjoy coffee in the morning . Someone commented on the size of the shower. Yes it's small, but I'm 6'1" and still managed to navigate the small space with no problem. All we needed was a place to sleep after spending the day out visiting tasting rooms and vineyards. Totally enjoyed our time there!
