"The hotel is about 20 minutes up a very steep and winding road above Taorimina so it's not convenient to go back and forth. The decor is dated, but the hotel has an old world charm and the setting is beautiful. The back of the hotel looks at Mount Etna and the wonderful pool faces it too. The breakfast was nice and had typical Sicilian pastries. They could update the decorations in the rooms and lobby."

"We had a beautiful room with a corner balcony facing the sea. The room was very spacious with a comfortable bed and pillows, a fridge and a safe. The bathroom was large and clean too. There was also lots of wardrobe space and hangers. The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty, ranging from scrambled or boiled eggs, bacon, cereal, lots of different dried fruits and nuts and seeds, jam and honey, amazing, fresh croissants and an array of homemade cakes which were delicious! "Absolutely amazing, clean, spacious living space. The grounds have plenty of sitting areas. I love the hammocks. It is a short drive to some beautiful beaches, restaurants and shops. They also provide a shuttle service. Its a well maintained and managed property. We would go back. The city is moving closer to the little paradise. "
