"Had a lovely week here. Chalet could do with some updating but it was fine as a base to explore the beautiful area. The swimming pool was great and we loved the remote location. It feels like you are miles from anywhere. Owner was very nice and very helpful."

"Before arrival, we passed this place and thought our sat nav was wrong but, this place is so well hidden and camouflaged into the landscape, you would miss it totally. Its in between the River Dordogne and the River Lot (which is prestine!) The accommodation was lovely and clean and just what was ordered for a relaxing family holiday. "We returned here after first visiting the lodge last year. The property was in just as good a condition as it was when we last came and was immaculately clean. "Fabulous week in the Dordogne based at this property - very rural and quiet but lots of lovely towns and Chateau’s and other things to see and do in the region so you will need a hire car to get around. The Gîte is superbly welcoming and comfortable - has everything you need for your stay. Craig and Caroline are fantastic hosts too, full of great advice beforehand when planning your stay and also on hand if needed while there. If I could 6 stars here I would! "

"We had a terrific stay at Patrice and Armelle's Gite. The hosts have large hearts and gave us a whole basket full of excellent local nuts. We were welcomed very warmly and kindly although we arrived late and Armelle helped us with all that we needed, including the rental and application of bedsheets.
