"We had a wonderful stay at the Last Word. Franklin, Conrad and the whole team couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome, at home and offered to help with all aspects of our trip plans. The hotel decor and facilities surpassed expectations. We had an amazing few nights sleep, the room felt very premium and the bathroom was incredible! Overall, we felt the hotel was worth far more than what we paid and can’t wait to return!"

"We had a lovely stay. The staff here are really friendly and helpful. Our loft room, though a bit difficult to get up and down the staircase (definitely not recommended for anyone with mobility issues), was cosy and clean. The breakfast was great and swimming pool also very refreshing in the heat commonly experienced in Franschoek. Very centrally located in town, so it was also a convenient location with easy parking"

"Wow, where do I begin? This stunning, intimate property in the heart of Franschhoek is absolutely perfect for couples! The staff are incredibly welcoming, polite, and professional. The food and beverage, on point. Although we had some noisy neighbors on our first night (not the hotel’s fault, so no complaints there), we slept wonderfully. The pillows are heavenly, the slippers luxuriously soft, and the attention to detail in celebrating special occasions is truly exceptional. The apartment was perfect and in a great location for experiencing everything the town has to offer- walking distance to the shops, restaurants, wine tram, and grocery store.
