"This is a cute little place, almost in the middle of nowhere! While there are not many choices for places to stay in this area, do not feel like you will have to settle for something dirty or shady when staying here. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. Fixtures are dated but everything we needed was available here, and it was clean. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. There is a small, self-serve continental breakfast & coffee area available (remember those?). I am not a breakfast person, but some may appreciate more choices for breakfast. However, it's nothing that would stop us from coming back. Give this place a try!"

Red Cloud still has some cobblestone streets and many of the downtown properties are being renovated. Grain trucks can be a little loud during harvest, but I slept well. Got up early to catch the sunrise on the Willa Cather Prairie. "
