A Great Riverbend Escape has a nature trail 1/4 mile hike to the river to picnic, fish or just watch the world go by to relax--or you can drive to the river. If you are adventurous bring your own kayak/canoe/life vests and drive it to the river to put in and cruise down the scenic Little Tennessee River. This Property is located 3.5 miles from Downtown Franklin and is an official Appalachian Trail-friendly destination. The Franklin area is rich in gems and minerals and is known locally as the "Gem Capital of The World"; gem mine is located 2 miles away. Close to Nantahala Outdoor center for rafting and zip lines. Close to town but feels like you are in the Nantahala National Forest. Needs a new master bed.
The location is quiet and beautiful. The house is nice and the host was fine, but the bed was horrible. My husband and I ended up sleeping on the couches because of the bed.

Great mountain escape
This property is an excellent find. Everything was as advertised. The location was quiet but convenient for many of the activities in the area. Our family had a great stay. We just wish we had more time off for this vacation!

Comfortable Place to Sleep
We didn't spend a lot of time at this property because we were in town to see family. It was perfectly adequate for our needs and provided a very comfortable place to sleep. Cherisse was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed.

The property was clean. It could use some updating. The beds were older and so was the towels and furniture. Its ok for a short stay but it also has no internet.

Lovely Private Cabin
My family and I had an amazing time, and the cabin was everything we could have asked for. It was clean, comfy, and private. Yet, it was close enough to downtown Franklin and many of the natural attractions. Cherisse was a wonderful host, who communicates very clearly, and answers any questions. I highly recommend this place, and look forward to coming back soon.

The lovely 3-2 house as just perfect for my stay. It was located near my the place I needed to be. The owner was very organized and the house was immaculate. I would highly recommend this home.

We needed a place to stay for the weekend that had 3 bedrooms. This location was the perfect size and only 13 minute drive from where we spending our days. The leaves were starting to change which was nice.

Nice clean home in a quiet neighborhood minutes from anywhere in Franklin. No issues whatsoever, other than maybe that there is construction going on along the nature trail to the river, so the trail is muddy and ugly at the moment.

Centrally located
The house looked small from the outside but was impressed with the inside. We were there to hike on the Appalachian Trail and this house was located just a little away from what i wanted but it worked out ok. We didn't spend any time outside since it was cold but the location was quiet. Overall it was a great stay.
