"Fabulous location within a 2 minute walk to lake for swimming and other water activities. 5 minute drive to quaint downtown Sunapee and 5 minutes to Sunapee mountain! We were in the area for a wedding and our family of 6 fit comfortably into the cozy cabin with an expansive screen porch and comfortable couch seating for all. Made s’mores in outdoor fire pit and listened to loons calling on the lake. Weather wasn’t great but we still had fun and wished we could stay a week. Wonderfully responsive...

"Stayed with my husband, son, daughter in law and 3 year old granddaughter. We totally enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and very well appointed. Morning walks to the river and roasting marshmallows at night. Butterflies, wild turkeys, and a toad were highlights for the little one. A short drive to Wellington state park and about 30 minutes to restaurants. I imagine it would also be a perfect location in fall and winter"

"We had a lovely time at this property. Very cute cabin feel, perfect for the fall. We were in town for a wedding at Pats Peak and were able to walk to the venue. The host had a fire going for us when we arrived and the cabin was peak coziness! As other reviews mentioned the hosts house is right there but it still felt private. Thanks for a great stay! "

There are no door mats in case of rain, there were only four towels provided for a six-night stay, the running water in the house smelled like sulfur, bare light bulbs in fixtures, moldy shower curtain, high humidity made staying in the house and sleeping very uncomfortable, the surface of the dining island was contact paper, fire pit broken, abandoned property right next door in...
