"When we booked this place we spent months excited about it and talking about how cool it would be. And then we got there and it lived up to all of our hopes and more! We stayed for a month and never got tired of the amazing view from the castle to the grounds and from the grounds to the castle. "House and surroundings were lovely but wouldn’t sleep 17. We were worried we wouldn’t find enough to do but that wasn’t the case. However, Mele (the nearest town) was a little disappointing as most of the businesses were closed for a few weeks while we were there, in August but we had a lovely stay and the owner was very helpful."

"These type of hotels are hit and miss. I’ve stayed in a lot of them. It was ok for a stopover one night if you don’t expect too much. Basically I just want somewhere to sleep. It all depends on who your neighbours are- unfortunately we had rowdy neighbours who were up a lot of the night making loads of noise with children running around, lots of moving stuff around etc- making no attempt to think of others - so if you encounter that then it’s not going to be good anywhere. "We had the most amazing holiday in this beautiful chateau. We were x4 families and the house was extremely comfortable with plenty of activities to keep the kids and adults entertained (table tennis, foosball, swimming pool, extensive grounds for football, walks etc). The swimming pool is beautiful and we were lucky with the weather and thankfully there is plenty of space indoors to retreat into when it is very hot outside! "We had a wonderful holiday. The location is in idilic countryside and farmland. There are sheep, cows and pigs all close by. We liked our visits to nearby Conches and Everaux.
