"This hotel was good. It was far from downtown. Had to take taxi or uber to get around. The breakfast was great. Front desk couldn’t speak English very well. Not a lot of staff spoke English. Room was big. "

The property is historical and meaningful, encouraging relaxation and a connection with nature. All facilities are within comfortable walking distance and easily accessible. The Belmond, at its best, offers an exceptional breakfast experience-something to look forward to and reminisce. The pool complements the hotels beauty, alongside the animals, who are familiar with the property and curious. However, one improvement the Belmond should consider-the dinner experience at IPE (the smaller restaurant, poolside) did not meet expectations. While the food is amazing, the service was not consistent. Otherwise, excellent destination and a memorable experience.
