"Was für eine tolle Unterkunft! Wir haben uns während unseres Aufenthalts hier sehr wohl gefühlt, denn man merkt, dass mit viel Herzblut gearbeitet wird, damit sich die Gäste wohlfühlen können. "Property was still being prepared 2hours late Property was non smoking but stank of smoke (previous guests?, cleaners?) Pool was full of flies so had to clean myself. Marble surface in the kitchen was cracked and we were told no to use it, so didn’t have a functioning kitchen for the visit. Only bedding was a thin blanket or a stained duvet without a cover so had to but our own bedding on arrival. "Overall we enjoyed our trip and this was supported by good accommodation at the villa. The villa manager was very accessible which made things easier for us, we arrived later in the evening and had to pay a late check in fee which I believe should not be compulsory. I had to deal with a few issues regarding our second payment for the villa which should have been taken on the same card as used for the deposit 3 0 days prior to arriving. "We had a lovely weeks stay at the villa. We were 3 families with teenagers. The villa had everything we needed to ensure all 6 teenage boys were occupied. "We stayed as a party of 9 (4 adults, 4 teens and a 10 year old). I think it’s useful for other potential guests to know the following, based on our experience: 1. The 2 bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs are only suitable for small children or anyone under 3ft! They are basically loft rooms, no windows, I lost track of the number of times we banged our heads on the roof and trying to make the beds when you can’t stand up is difficult. 2. "We had a wonderful stay at this great villa which is only a short drive from the airport, but provides a quiet and beautiful location. For mid-to-late October, we were blessed with the weather, which only enhanced the beauty of the place and its surroundings. There are restaurants and amenities that are only a short drive away, so there's plenty still to see and do. Joao was an excellent host and communication with him was excellent. If I can guarantee the weather, I'll certainly be back!"

"The villa was lovely, we loved the setting and the views were fantastic. You can walk to several restaurants. We were left a welcome package which was very helpful, but you do definitely need to go to a big supermarket as the two mini-markets did not stock very much especially fresh bread, fruit and vegetables, we would also say that the villa did not have enough towels and they also need to be renewed."

"A great find. Only 500m from airport so walkable (though we did have a car). Free parking on site and breakfast included in cost of room. Room was very clean with a great shower. Good breakfast selection in clean and tidy breakfast room. Clean swimming pool (didn’t use as February) if you have children with you. Next door was good restaurant that served Indian, Portuguese, Chinese and Pizza/Pasta so covered all the bases. A great hotel if you have an early flight or late arrival (as we did). We used as a base to explore Faro and Tavira. Also free wi-fi. "
