Spacious property, beautiful views.
It’s like a secret hideaway. Barely a two-minute drive from Foster, you wind up a sweet little path and the house appears at the top of a hill. I was surprised by the spaciousness of the house and how gorgeous the views were. You can see rolling hills and trees from most rooms, but the best view is from the veranda where you can enjoy a coffee and listen to the quiet murmuring of many different birds. There’s a Nespresso machine, a great pool for warm days, adjacent BBQ (didn’t use it but I know a lot of ppl like to) and a big garden to explore. All rooms were clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Multiple living and dining areas! We never even made use of one of the lounges nor the formal dining area. RE the comment by another reviewer about the hot water running out quickly: this only seemed to affect the upstairs bathroom in the evenings so, if we all wanted to bathe after a busy day, we just made use of the downstairs bathroom. Wi-fi was excellent but weirdly Netflix was occasionally patchy in the evenings from the tv, so we would switch to watching Netflix from our own laptop which worked fine - never seemed to be an issue when the kids were watching cartoons in the morning. Foster is great for exploring Prom country. Visit Fish Creek if you’re a Noni the Pony fan! Atticus bookstore make a great coffee. Decent pub and bakery with friendly staff. We were lucky enough to be there when they had their craft market on. Overall a lovely experience - highly recommend!
