"We enjoyed this Scottish “steading”. It was a charming farmhouse attached with other houses. The neighbors were friendly and helpful when we first got there. The house was plenty big enough for the 9 of us. The only downfall was the very slow Internet. But that wasn’t the fault of the owner. The house was about a mile outside of town which made it a very quiet stay. "

"I can’t put into words how stunning this place is! The host had the place all decorated for Christmas since we were there for the festivities which was great as we had a little one with us. The house is very spacious and was spotless! Only bit of feedback I have is that the kitchen utensils could be doing with an update. "On the surface this house has a lot going for it but once you peel back a layer there are some issues. You get what you pay for...Let me start by saying the location in Scotland is great for access to many sightseeing locations but the house is on the main road and the bedrooms bordering the road do not allow anyone to sleep past 6am unless you are used to sleeping next to a busy road. "Host Matt was very accommodating, place was very comfortable, clean. We stayed nine days and travelled in every direction from there. Close to town for groceries. Was really nice to be able to come “home” every evening and relax…and Matt checked in with us to see if we needed anything. Jenny, Tom, Frank and Nancy"
