"Friendly staff. What does stand out is the breakfast buffet (though everything was not available at the beginning of breakfast, but just show up 1/2 hour after opening) and the dinner buffet. Good food at a very reasonable price."

"Stayed in a cabin, which was lovely if a little cold and noisy from the road. Staff was incredible and the breakfast also fantastic."

"This is a classic Norwegian mountain hotel with a simple and comfortable room. The gathering spaces were quaint. The area was beautiful. Ample parking. The food was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Great buffet breakfast. This was a good value for our trip."

"We stayed for one night and also ate both dinner and breakfast here. We were happy with our stay. The people who manage the space were helpful and friendly. We appreciated their hard work. Everything was clean. The pub-type food, while nothing extraordinary, was enjoyable and - again - the service was good and prompt. This is not a "hotel" in the same way that a Scandic or Radisson is. It is a guest-house, with rooms, bathrooms and beds similar to those you might find at a summer-camp. ...

"The hostel was much better than we expected. The kitchen was very complete and clean. The room was clean, beautiful and spacious. The only problem was that the toilet run continously making the room noisy. "

"Relaxing holiday and easy access to interesting places like Dovrefjell. Not too far from great mountains, fjords, summer ski centres and much more. Saw 3 muskox (take great care though!) and enjoyed a heatwave and Norways National Day. A little away from major tourism so very good atmosphere. "

"This village is a hidden gem! It is gorgeous! The hotel has not been updated since the 60s so it was like going back into a time capsule. The hotel is clean and in good shape. The staff was super friendly but don't expect comfortable beds. I highly recommend it. "

"We chose this hotel from expedia.com. In fact our search area was Lom, Norway. But this hotel was roughly 60KM from Lom. Of course, I should have looked in the map before finalizing the booking but still it was far away from where we wanted to go. When we did reach there, we found a decent (not great) hotel which would accomodate most needs. It reminded me of low end business hotels in the US. But I guess that's expected! The facilities were basic, service (check in lady) very pleasant....

"Really nice cabin! We went with 3 persons on a one week trip to this cabin. It is quite small for 6 persons but with 2/4 persons it will be great. The area is really nice with really nice area every way you go to. In the winter a lot is closed in the area but still we enjoyed our week stay with plenty to do."

Very Authentic Rustic Place

"The place is fine. Two BR, one bath, living room, dining area and kitchen. The place might be 100 years old but in good condition. Fireplaces in kitchen and living room provide the heat for the whole house. A for had been started for us and starter materials and matches with sufficient wood was supplied. We used only the fireplace in the kitchen in late August. The stairs to the two bedrooms upstairs have a sharp angle and are wider at the wall and very narrow As the step goes away from the wall. My wife choose to sleep on the sofa downstairs because you would have to use the steps to use the bathroom at night. We are in our late 70s. May not be a problem for the very agile. All in all a fun place. Al in all living"
